Abstract: A saddle-ride vehicle includes an engine with a front cylinder extended forward and diagonally upward from a crankcase. The engine is mounted between a front wheel and a rear wheel. A space gradually vertically extended forward is provided between a fuel tank arranged on the upside of the front cylinder and a front head cover provided to an upper part of the front cylinder. A radiator upstream water passage extended backward from an upper part of a radiator is provided in front of the front cylinder and is arranged in the space. The radiator upstream water passage is covered with a front overhead cover attached to the front cylinder. With this configuration, vehicle body components are not exposed, thereby protecting the vehicle body components. In addition, the appearance of the vehicle is efficiently enhanced.

Abstract: A wire is provided in a turn signal power cord drawn out from a turn signal indicator fixed to a front fork while achieving a good appearance. A turn signal indicator includes a lamp case housing a lamp, and a stay member coupled to the lamp case. The stay member includes an annular collar fitted around a circumference of a front fork shaft. A cord-housing groove is formed in an outer part of the annular collar. A turn signal power cord is drawn out from the lamp case to the annular collar through an arm part to the outside through the groove. The cord-housing groove is covered with a cover, which is formed integrally with a locking member that engages with a slot part of a top bridge, as an anti-rotation component of the apparatus.

Abstract: In a solid state imaging device to be included in an imaging device such as a digital camera, a ramp run-up AD conversion circuit for AD converting a pixel signal is provided corresponding to one or a plurality of pixel columns. A column counter provided in each ramp run-up AD conversion circuit holds an upper bit, and a clock signal is supplied to one or plural latches for holding a lower bit. Thus, fast and accurate AD conversion can be realized while suppressing increase of clock frequency.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided, which prevents occurrence of conveying malfunction or image failure due to variation of conveying speed caused by endurance of a fixing unit or a conveying unit, variation of using environment, or a type of a recording material. The image forming apparatus includes: a fixing unit for heating and fixing a toner image on a recording sheet (P); a secondary transferring portion for conveying the recording sheet (P) to the fixing unit; a loop sensor for detecting a degree of a loop of the recording sheet (P) generated according to a speed difference between a conveying speed of the fixing unit and a conveying speed of the secondary transferring portion; a CPU for controlling the conveying speed of the fixing unit; a fixing deliver sensor for detecting a used amount of the fixing unit; and an EEPROM for storing information on the used amount of the fixing unit detected by the fixing deliver sensor. The CPU controls the conveying speed of the fixing unit based on the information of the used amount of the fixing unit stored in the EEPROM and a detection result of the loop sensor.

Abstract: A measurement cell (40a) is formed so as to extend in a direction along which a centrifugal force is applied, and a capillary area (47a) to which a sample liquid is sucked by a capillary force is formed on one of the side walls of the measurement cell (40a), the side walls being arranged in a rotational direction. The capillary area (47a) extends from the outer periphery position to the inner periphery of the measurement cell (40a), thereby reducing the size of an analyzing device. Further, the sample liquid in the measurement cell (40a) is sucked to the capillary area (47a) by slowing or stopping a rotation, and then the rotation is accelerated to return the sample liquid in the capillary area (47a) to the measurement cell (40a). It is therefore possible to achieve a sufficient agitating effect and conduct measurement with a small quantity of sample liquid.
