    Abstract: Iris image pick-up devices have the same field of view and are disposed at mutually different positions. An overall image pick-up device performs image pick-up over a wide field of view. A guiding device guides a subject. An illumination device illuminates the subject with light. The controller controls, using an image from the overall image pick-up device, at least one of reading out an image from the iris image pick-up devices, presenting at least of an image and a sound through the guiding device, or providing illumination with light from the illumination device.

    Abstract: An object is to provide a filter learning device capable of optimizing recognition processing using features obtained from the characteristics of light. The filter learning device (10) according to the present disclosure includes an optical filter unit (11) for extracting a filter image from an image for learning by using a filter condition determined according to a filter parameter, a parameter updating unit (12) for updating the filter parameter with a result obtained by executing image analysis processing on the filter image, and a sensing unit (13) for sensing an input image by using a physical optical filter that satisfies a filter condition determined according to the updated filter parameter.

    Abstract: The disclosure is inputting a first image obtained by capturing an object of authentication moving in a specific direction; inputting a second image at least for one eye obtained by capturing a right eye or a left eye of the object; determining whether the second image is of the left eye or the right eye of the object, based on information including the first image, and outputting a determination result associated with the second image as left/right information; comparing characteristic information relevant to the left/right information, the characteristic information being acquired from a memory that stores the characteristic information of a right eye and a left eye pertaining to object to be authenticated, with characteristic information associated with the left/right information, and calculating a verification score; and authenticating the object captured in the first image and the second image, based on the verification score, and outputting an authentication result.
