    Abstract: A laminated pane with light source, includes an outer pane and an inner pane, a first thermoplastic film arranged between the outer pane and the inner pane, a functional element with electrically controllable optical properties, a darkened layer, a decoupling element for decoupling light from the inner pane, and a light source arranged on a side edge of the inner pane or in a recess of the inner pane for coupling light into the inner pane, wherein the darkened layer has at least one opaque region having a light transmittance of less than or equal to 50% and the opaque region is present at least within the region between the light source and the functional element.

    Abstract: An arrangement for a driver assistance system of a vehicle, includes a radiation source for emitting infrared radiation, a radiation receiver for receiving infrared radiation, a windshield formed of an outer pane and an inner pane which are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, wherein the windshield has at least one functional layer reflecting infrared radiation, wherein the radiation source is arranged such that infrared radiation can be reflected from the functional layer as first reflection radiation onto the face of a driver, the first reflection radiation can be reflected from the face of the driver as second reflection radiation onto the functional layer, and wherein the radiation receiver is arranged such that the second reflection radiation reflected from the functional layer as third reflection radiation can be reflected to the radiation receiver and received by the radiation receiver.

    Abstract: A composite pane includes a laminated stacking sequence composed of an outer pane with an exterior-side surface and an interior-side surface, an inner pane with an exterior-side surface and an interior-side surface, and at least one thermoplastic intermediate layer, which joins the interior-side surface of the outer pane to the exterior-side surface of the inner pane, wherein a heatable element is applied directly on the interior-side surface of the outer pane or on the exterior-side surface of the inner pane, and a thermal-radiation-reflecting coating is applied directly on the interior-side surface of the inner pane and/or a thermal-radiation-reflecting coating is applied directly on the exterior-side surface of the outer pane.
