Abstract: A windshield includes an outer glass, a polymer interlayer, and an inner glass. The inner glass has a third surface and a fourth surface opposite the third surface. The third surface faces the polymer interlayer. The windshield has an information collection region and a non-information collection region. An enhanced reflection coating is provided on the fourth surface. The enhanced reflection coating covers the information collection region and the non-information collection region. The enhanced reflection coating is configured to improve a reflectivity of the non-information collection region for P-polarized light of 380 nm˜ 780 nm. A dielectric coating is further provided in the information collection region. The dielectric coating disposed on a side face of the enhanced reflection coating away from the fourth surface.

An antifogging article includes: a transparent base; and an antifogging layer which is provided on the transparent base and which made of an epoxy resin cured material containing a silicon atom and an aluminum atom, wherein, in the antifogging layer, an antifogging time (T35) in a 35° C. steam test as measured by a predetermined method is eighty seconds or more, a variation ΔT in haze after a Taber abrasion test stipulated in Japan Industrial Standard (JIS) R3212 is 4.0% or less, and a variation ΔYI in a yellowness index stipulated in JIS K7373 after the antifogging layer is kept at 100° C. for 500 hours is 3 or less.

Abstract: A coated glass article includes a glass substrate. A coating is formed over the glass substrate. The coating includes a first inorganic metal oxide layer deposited over a major surface of the glass substrate. The first inorganic metal oxide layer has a refractive index of 1.6 or more. The third inorganic metal oxide layer has a refractive index of 2.2 or more and the refractive index of the third inorganic metal oxide layer is greater than the refractive index of the second inorganic metal oxide layer. A fourth inorganic metal oxide layer is deposited over the third inorganic metal oxide layer. The fourth inorganic metal oxide layer has a refractive index which is less than the refractive index of the third inorganic metal oxide layer. The coated glass article exhibits a total visible light reflectance of less than 6.5%.
