Abstract:
The invention relates to a hotmelt adhesive comprising a hotmelt adhesive mixture, the mixture including a) 15-85% by weight of a first, polyester-based hotmelt adhesive and b) 15-85% by weight of a second, polyamide-based hotmelt adhesive.
Abstract:
An apparatus comprising a base having base threads and a flexible assembly having assembly threads, wherein said base threads and the assembly threads are capable of interfacing to connect the base to the flexible assembly, wherein the flexible assembly is capable of contracting in response to the application of torque when the assembly is connected to the base, and wherein the contracting of the assembly presents a visual, tactile or audible indication that a sufficient amount of torque has been applied to connect the flexible assembly to the base.
Abstract:
A filter (18) is fastened by means of a releasable detent connection (20) in a fastening housing part (14). One detent component (32) is connected to the filter element (18) and one detent component (36) is connected to the fastening housing part (14). At least one detent means (32) of one of the detent components engages in a bayonet-like manner in a cut-out (38) in the other detent component (36). One switching component (60) of a switching device (58) is connected to the filter element (18) and one switching component (62) is connected to the fastening housing part (14). One of the switching components (60) includes at least one switching lug (76) extending radially to a rotational/plug-in axis (30) of the filter (10), and one of the switching components (62) includes a switching slot (78) for guiding the switching lug (76). The switching slot (78) guides the switching lug (76) and thereby effects a rotational movement of the filter element (18) relative to the fastening housing part (14 to move the detent means (32) out of an insertion/withdrawal region (46) into a closing region (40) of the cut-out (38), or out of a retaining region (42) into the insertion/withdrawal region (46).
Abstract:
A filter device, having at least one filter clement (3) which can be received in a filter housing (1) and having a holding device (19) which serves for detachably fixing said filter element in the filter housing (I) and which has corresponding threads (23, 33) for forming a screw connection which acts between a housing cover (5) of the filter housing (1) and the filter element (3), wherein a sealing device (29, 35) is provided which imparts a sealing action between the filter element (3) and the housing cover (5), wherein the screw connection is formed by threads (23, 33) situated at least partially in the interior (22) of the respective filter element (3), wherein the thread (33) assigned to the filter element (3) is situated on a connecting pipe piece (31) which, as a constituent part of an end cap (17) of the filter element (3), extends into the inner filter cavity (22) of said filter element (3), wherein the thread (23) assigned to the housing cover (5) is situated on a receiving pipe piece (21), which can be screwed to the connecting pipe piece (31) of the filter element (3), on the housing cover (5), is characterized in that the receiving pipe piece is formed by a separate component in the form of a pipe part (21) which is attached to the housing cover (5).
Abstract:
A modular water filter assembly is disclosed. The modular water filter assembly includes a primary module having primary filter media for treating water; a secondary module having a first end and a second end; and a manifold defining an inlet connectable to a water source, and an outlet connectable to a water dispenser. The secondary module is removably coupled to the manifold at the first end thereof, and to the primary module at the second end thereof, the secondary module defining a flow path for carrying water therethrough. The water filter assembly is variably configurable for treating water passed from the water source through the inlet of the manifold and through at least one of the primary module and the secondary module and then through the outlet of the manifold. An appliance incorporating such a modular water filter assembly is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A liquid filter assembly is provided. The preferred assembly includes a serviceable filter cartridge having a primary filter section and a secondary or bypass filter section. The preferred assembly includes a bypass valve arrangement and a suction filter arrangement. The suction filter arrangement preferably includes a dimensionally biased valve arrangement, preferably one which is devoid of a helical coiled spring, to control flow through the suction filter. A flow/pressure regulation valve, to allow flow from an interior of the assembly to a reservoir if needed, is preferably provided. Preferred serviceable filter cartridges are shown.
Abstract:
A filter assembly includes a head, a filter housing which can be connected to the head, and a filter element which can be received in the filter housing. The filter element includes a tubular wall provided with a filtration medium; a first end part provided at a first axial end of the filter element; and a second end part provided at a second axial end of the filter element. The second end part of the filter element is provided with a either a protrusion or an undercut opening, on the one hand, and the second end of the housing is provided with either an undercut opening or a protrusion, on the other hand. A side of the protrusion or opening is provided with a sloping face which slopes at a slope with respect to the axial direction of the filter element.
Abstract:
A filter element has at least one plastic part, a filter medium, and a potting compound that forms a connection between the at least one plastic part and the filter medium. A connecting part is connected fixedly to the at least one plastic part. The potting compound penetrates at least partially into the connecting part.
Abstract:
A method is provided for connecting a filter medium to a connection element, wherein the filter medium and the connection element are brought into contact with each other and connected to each other by exposure to laser radiation. The connection element may be welded to the end faces of filter folds in strips having a width of 1 mm. The connection element may include a laser light-absorbing layer and a laser light-transparent layer. The filter medium and connection elements may comprise nonwoven fabrics.
