Abstract: A method corrects color density unevenness during a printing operation on an inkjet printing machine having printing nozzles and a computer. The computer modifies the number or size of the drops to be applied to a printing substrate to attain nominal color density values after the processing of a rasterized print image. For different actual tone values, it is determined which target tone value is required to attain a nominal coloration by measuring a test image for every printing nozzle using a color measurement device, and, based thereon, an area coverage-dependent compensation profile is determined and saved on the computer to be applied in the printing operation to calculate the number and size of the drops on the computer.

Abstract: A method and a device for determining a yellowish level of a screen caused by pressing are provided. The method includes: acquiring chromaticity coordinates of a plurality of test points of the screen during a pressing test; processing the acquired chromaticity coordinates, so as to acquire a chromatic aberration between the test point with a maximum value of X or a maximum value of Y in the chromaticity coordinates and the test point with a minimum value of X or a minimum value of Y in the chromaticity coordinates; and comparing the chromatic aberration with a predetermined standard chromatic aberration, so as to determine whether the screen is qualified after the pressing test.

Abstract: A subwavelength gold hole/disk array that when coupled with a ground plane induces extraordinary transmission through the hole/disk array and zero back reflection. The hole/disk array functions as a “light funnel” in couling incident radiation into the cavity with about 100% efficiency over a narrow resonant bandwidth, which results in frequency-selective perfect (˜100%) absorption of the incident radiation. Such an optical frequency-selective absorber enables flexible scaling of detector response to any wavelength range by pattern dimensional changes, enabling uncooled frequency selective detection and “color” imaging in the infrared domain. Methods and applications are disclosed.

Abstract: A transducer such as a translinear proportional-to-absolute-temperature sensor uses two amplifiers, where each amplifier is used in a variety of modes. The first amplifier generates a measurement voltage though feedback in an analog circuit. The second amplifier samples and integrates the measurement in a switched-capacitor mode, and the output is stored on a capacitor. Then the first amplifier is set to measure its offset. The offset is sampled and integrated by the second amplifier, and the output is stored on a second capacitor. Then the first and second amplifiers are set to buffer the voltages stored on the capacitors. The measurement can then be offset-adjusted by digital or analog means. The adjusted measurement is then available to be used for calibration of, e.g., an image sensor. Other transducers, such as pressure sensors, strain sensors, gyroscopes, magnetometers, accelerometers, and xyz positioning sensors may employ the same dual amplifier approach.
