Abstract: A memory controller includes a command queue, an arbiter, and a controller. The controller is responsive to a repair signal for migrating data from a failing region of a memory to a buffer, generating at least one command to perform a post-package repair operation of the failing region, and migrating the data from the buffer to a substitute region of the memory. The controller migrates the data to and from the buffer by providing migration read requests and migration write requests, respectively, to the command queue. The arbiter uses the plurality of arbitration rules for both the read migration requests and the write migration requests, and the read access requests and the write access requests.

Abstract: In general, the current subject matter relates to automated basic input/output system (BIOS) recovery. In some implementations, automated BIOS recovery can include attempting to boot an operating system (OS) from a BIOS while running an Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) watchdog timer. The BIOS can be stored in a first partition of a memory of a communication device in a wireless communication system. After a timeout of the watchdog timer, performance of a BIOS recovery procedure can be automatically triggered. After the performance of the BIOS recovery procedure, the OS can be automatically re-attempted to boot from the BIOS.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate generally to efficient data encoding and transmission. An encoding system determines an encoding interval at which to encode different groups of related data in a data structure. The encoding interval for each group encoded together optimizes the amount of newly received information that is encoded and transmitted in a continuous, repeating loop.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a processing device configured to obtain workload traces characterizing resource execution metrics associated with workloads executing in an information technology infrastructure and to generate sets of workload causality profiles characterizing relationships between the resource execution metrics, the sets of workload causality profiles comprising first and at least second sets of workload causality profiles generated using first and at least second different types of models. The processing device is also configured to determine sets of causal topics comprising recurring patterns of the relationships between different ones of the resource execution metrics found in each of the sets of workload causality profiles. The processing device is further configured to identify clusters of causal topics each comprising at least one causal topic that is part of the first and second sets of causal topics, and to perform diagnosis of issues affecting the workloads based on the identified clusters.

Abstract: A system includes a memory array; and a processing device coupled to the memory array. The processing device may be configured to iteratively adjust an active processing level, wherein, for each iteration, the processing device is configured to: determine a first set of read results corresponding to the active processing level, determine a second set of read results based on an offset processing level different than the active processing level, and incrementally adjust the active processing level based on a comparison of the first and the second read results.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for dynamic node insertion of secondary services for high-availability during main decision failure at runtime. A service provider, such as an electronic transaction processor for digital transactions, may utilize different decision services that implement rules and/or artificial intelligence models for decision-making of data including data in production computing environment. A main decision service may normally be used for data processing and decision-making. However, at certain times, the main decision service may fail, such as if a data processing node fails to process data or times out while processing a data processing request, such as during electronic transaction processing. During this runtime, a dynamic injection processor may dynamically inject a node that performs a call to a secondary service to process the data on behalf of the node and/or main decision service so that a response is provided to the data processing request.

Abstract: A storage device with improved security performance is provided. The storage device comprises a first non-volatile memory storing a firmware image, a second non-volatile memory storing an emergency image, and a storage controller controlling the first and second non-volatile memories, wherein the storage controller checks an integrity of the firmware image received from the first non-volatile memory, loads and executes the emergency image from the second non-volatile memory when the integrity check of the firmware image fails, receives a recover image from an external device based on the emergency image, and provides the recover image to the first non-volatile memory.

Abstract: A storage device write-read error reduction system includes a computing device that includes a storage device. The storage device determines, at a temperature that is within a predefined temperature range, that a storage device background operation should be performed and, in response, identifies data that is stored in the storage device and that was written to the storage device outside the predefined temperature range. The storage device then prioritizes the data that was written to the storage device outside the predefined temperature range over data that was written to the storage device within the predefined temperature range and, based on that prioritization, performs the storage device background operation to rewrite the data to the storage device.
