    Abstract: The control system for a terminal device and a switch can be operated by gestures and incorporate existing infrastructure. The control system includes the wall, wiring, electricity source to the wall, the switch with a control module, and the terminal device connected to the switch. The system also includes a housing and a sensor within the housing. The control module receives gesture data from the sensor to actuate the switch corresponding to desired activity of the terminal device. The range of activities of the terminal device corresponds to the different modes of the switch. The system can retrofit a terminal device and a switch in an existing installation so that the terminal device can be controlled by gestures. The control system can also have power source based on the existing infrastructure or a battery.
