Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method using a remote-control device for locating a vehicle parked in a large parking area or structure. The system includes a RF transceiver, an LED light, and a vibration module installed in the vehicle during manufacturing or retrofitted to an existing vehicle. The remote-control device is configured to connect with the vehicle and illuminate the LED light remotely in order to locate the vehicle. The remote device can also vibrate in response to the proximity of the remote device relative to the vehicle using the vibration module. The remote-control device provides the capability to display GPS location of vehicle and the remote device while also enabling an audible recording of a description of the location of the vehicle.

Abstract: A system is provided for remotely communicating with one or more cleaning units, each including a control unit for operating the cleaning unit, and a first low data rate device coupled to the control unit. A gateway unit nearby each of the cleaning units includes a Wi-Fi protocol device and a second low data rate device coupled to the Wi-Fi protocol device. An internet connected device is wirelessly coupled to the WiFi protocol device, and the first low data rate device is wirelessly coupled to the second low data rate device. A data transfer rate of the first and second low data rate devices is substantially lower than a data transfer rate of the WiFi protocol device.

Abstract: A control system incorporated with a power running board assembly. In particular, incorporating a radio frequency control system for a retractable power running board assembly to move the assembly between a stowed or retracted position and a deployed or extended position. The present invention uses a transmit/acknowledge scheme of door transceivers and receivers to reduce transmissions necessary to monitor door status changes and operation of the retraction and deployment of the running board, which significantly reduces the number of transmissions and wear on the door transceivers battery to extend battery lifetime.

Abstract: A submersible inspection device used for inspection of, for example, liquid cooled electrical transformers can include a number of separate cameras for imaging the internal structure of the transformer. The submersible can be configured to communicate to a base station using a number of wireless transmitters and receivers. Signals transmitted to the submersible include command signals useful to effect an action on the submersible but also a heartbeat signal to indicate health of the transmitted signal. A redundant channel selection logic is provided to switch from a channel which no longer receives a heartbeat to another channel that includes a current heartbeat. Multiple signals can be received and evaluated in software, and another signal received via a firmware radio.

Abstract: A remote control device for an aircraft and an aircraft system are provided. The aircraft system includes the aircraft (3) and the remote control device. Abstract: A remote control system for controlling a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) may comprise an ROV wireless transceiver operatively in communication with one or more wireless transceivers deployed at a distance from the ROV. The remote wireless transceivers are operatively in communication with one or more ROV consoles and ROV may be operated from the remote location by operatively connecting the first ROV console to a second wireless data transceiver; establishing wireless data communications between the second wireless data transceiver and the ROV wireless transceiver; and controlling a predetermined ROV function at the ROV from the first ROV console via communications established between the second wireless data transceiver and the ROV wireless transceiver. Two or more such remote wireless data transceivers and/or remote ROV consoles may be provided for redundancy, ancillary functions, or the like.
