Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a radio frequency system with tunable notch filtering. The radio frequency system includes a first tunable filter and a second tunable filter. The first tunable filter is coupled between an output of a power amplifier and a radio frequency switch. The second tunable filter includes mutually coupled inductors and a tunable impedance circuit electrically connected to at least one of the mutually coupled inductors. The second tunable filter is coupled between an antenna switch and an antenna node. Related methods and wireless communication devices are also disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to hybrid acoustic LC filter with harmonic suppression. The hybrid acoustic LC filter includes a hybrid passive/acoustic and a non-acoustic LC filter cascaded with the hybrid passive/acoustic filter. The hybrid passive/acoustic filter can be configured to filter a radio frequency signal. The hybrid passive/acoustic filter can include acoustic resonators and a non-acoustic passive component. The non-acoustic LC filter can be configured to suppress a harmonic of the radio frequency signal. The non-acoustic LC filter can be a low pass filter or a harmonic notch filter, for example. Related multiplexers, wireless communication devices, and methods are disclosed.

Abstract: Techniques for providing low-cost and effective jammer rejection for an amplifier is disclosed. The amplifier includes an input node and an output node, a first transistor and a second transistor, a load circuitry, an inductor, and a capacitor. A first terminal of the first transistor is coupled to a ground. A second terminal of the first transistor is coupled to a first terminal of the second transistor. A second terminal of the second transistor is coupled to the output node. The load circuitry is coupled between a power supply and the second terminal of the second transistor. A first terminal of the inductor is coupled to the ground through a first switch. A first terminal of the capacitor is coupled to the first terminal of the second transistor and a second terminal of the capacitor is coupled to a second terminal of the inductor.

Abstract: A wireless communication device comprises a first communication unit, a second communication unit and a single control unit. Abstract: A system that incorporates aspects of the subject disclosure may perform operations including, for example, a method of identifying, by a system comprising a processor, network communication degradation in one or more layers of a multi-layered communication protocol above a physical layer, wherein the network communication degradation is associated with communications taking place through a network, in part over a radio frequency link, between a plurality of communication devices, obtaining, by the system, data from a layer below the one or more layers of the multi-layered communication protocol identified as having the network communication degradation, determining, by the system, one or more geographic regions of the network associated with the network communication degradation from the data, and mitigating, by the system, effects of the network communication degradation in the one or more geographic regions of the network. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, a method that determines at least one threshold for detecting signal interference in a first plurality of segments occurring in a first radio frequency spectrum of a first wireless communication system, detecting a pattern of recurrence over time of signal interference in a segment of the first plurality of resource blocks according to the at least one threshold, and performing one or more mitigation steps to mitigate the signal interference without filtering the signal interference where the one or more mitigation steps include at least one of transmitting signals out of phase from the signal interference, adjusting transmit power, increasing power in a resource block of a long term evolution communication session, performing beam steering, or changing time parameters for the resource block without changing to a new resource block. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A selective filtering module is arranged to filter or process the digital baseband signal consistent with a target receiving bandwidth, where the selective filtering module comprises a narrowband rejection filter and wide-band filter configured to reject an interference component that interferes with the received radio frequency signal. The narrowband rejection filter is configured to reject a first interference component, where the narrowband rejection filter comprises an adaptive notch filter (NF). The wide band rejection filter is configured to reject a second interference component in accordance with a pulse blanking technique. An electronic data processor is adapted to control one or more filter coefficients of narrowband rejection filter and the wide band rejection filter in accordance with one or more strategic filter control factors among ADC saturation, activation/deactivation of the notch filter, and a wide-band spectrum analysis.

For example, an emissions-suppression circuit can include a notch filter associated with a first frequency range, a switch assembly coupled to the notch filter, and a duplexer coupled to the switch assembly. The switch assembly can be configured to, in a filter state, couple the notch filter to a transmit path and configured to, in a bypass state, decouple the notch filter from the transmit path. The transmit path can be associated with two or more switch connections in the notch-filter state and associated with one switch connection in the bypass state. The duplexer can include a transmit filter that is associated with a second frequency range.
