    Abstract: An indexing conveyor system including a work station skipping device. The conveyor system has a rail situated above a plurality of same-length work stations along a path of conveyance. The work station skipping device is operable to engage a load and transfer the load from a first conveyor carriage to a second, further downstream carriage for advancing more than one work station length so that the load skips over a predetermined one of the plurality of work stations.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a processing and positioning device for processing catalyst support bodies. The device comprises a rotary indexing table, which comprises a turntable, which is rotatable about a longitudinal axis running in the axial direction of the turntable, and at least one loading platform, which comprises a holding device and is set up for releasably holding the catalyst support body on an outer surface of the catalyst support body. The at least one loading platform is connected to the turntable, whereby the loading platform is taken along by the turntable when a rotation of the turntable takes place about its longitudinal axis. The holding device is arranged in relation to the longitudinal axis of the turntable with a radial distance away from the longitudinal axis. Also provided is at least one processing position, which is fixed with respect to the turntable and is away from the longitudinal axis in a radial direction by a distance. The distance is provided in relation to the radial distance such that the loading platform can be arranged at the processing position. The invention also relates to a method for positioning catalyst support bodies which, by means of a circular movement, arranges the support bodies at positions that are in series according to the positioning along a circular line.

    Abstract: A film formation system and a film formation method are disclosed. The film formation method includes the following steps performed in the film formation system that includes a container containing liquid, a liquid draining device for draining the liquid, a ring-shaped component installed in the container, and a carrying component installed in the liquid in the container for carrying at least a substrate: enabling the carrying component in the liquid and enabling the ring-shaped component to float on the liquid; when a film layer that is composed of nano-spheres is formed on the liquid, locating the film layer in a ring of the ring-shaped component; and removing the liquid, allowing the film layer to move downward in accordance with the ring-shaped component and be formed on the substrate, thereby preventing the nano-spheres from contacting an inner wall of the container and bursting, through the installation of the ring-shaped component.

    Abstract: An apparatus for coating the surface of a lens includes a carousel having a central hub and a plurality of arms. A drive shaft is mounted to each arm, with a magnetic clutch and a lens holder being operatively attached to the drive shaft. The carousel is configured to be raised, rotated, and lowered into a series of workstations for processing the lens in a predetermined sequence. A workstation has associated therewith a spin drive attached to a reciprocating arm assembly. The spin drive includes a magnetic clutch which may be coupled to the magnetic clutch of any one of the arms on the carousel, such that a rotation generated by the spin drive is transferred to the drive shaft, and the lens holder.
