    Abstract: A method includes loading a chemical agent into a spray apparatus and inserting the spray apparatus into an environment. The method also includes propelling the spray apparatus with a pressurized fluid from a pressurized fluid source in a longitudinal direction within the environment. The method also includes mixing the chemical agent with the pressurized fluid from the pressurized fluid source to generate a mixed chemical agent. The method also includes retrieving the spray apparatus in a direction opposite the longitudinal direction within the environment. The method further includes dispersing the mixed chemical agent from the spray apparatus during the retrieving of the spray apparatus.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing apparatus for containing a pressurized composition. The dispensing apparatus comprises a reservoir for containing the composition, a flow conduit in fluid communication with the reservoir having a distal end forming a flow conduit orifice; and a displaceable actuator head comprising a side wall having an interior surface and a dispensing orifice formed through the side wall. An intermediate member having an aperture extending there through is interposed between the interior surface of the displaceable actuator head and the distal end of the flow conduit. The intermediate member is affixed to either the interior surface of the actuator head aligning the aperture with the dispensing orifice or to the distal end of the flow conduit aligning the aperture with the flow conduit orifice. The intermediate member seals the dispensing orifice when the displaceable actuator head is biased to an at-rest position.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a device for applying a fluid sealant with a light touch, the device comprising a wand with a fluid sealant supply, either as part of the wand or as a separate supply tube, attached to the top of an applicator head via a universal joint, wherein the applicator head has a chamber on its underside which is sufficiently large to enable a constant supply of a fluid sealant to a substrate that is to be sealed, and the applicator head has an edge disposed around its lower periphery adapted to strike the sealant flat. In addition, the present invention provides methods of using the devices to form a seal, e.g. a weather-resistive barrier on a sheathed building structure, by applying a flexible and compressible foam to gaps in the structure.     Abstract: A method and system are provided for dispensing a colored polymerizing composition. Two reactive components and one color component are pumped from respective containers at a metered volume. The color component, which is preferably a low-viscosity automotive paint is injected into either the first or second stream of reactive component at a point immediately prior to mixing all components in a dispensing device for dispensing the resulting colored fluid mixture onto a surface to be coated. The mixture may be dispensed by pouring or spraying onto the surface. The method and system are particularly useful for mixing and dispensing colored polyurethane or polyurea coatings, such as for spray-on truck bed liners.

    Abstract: A liquid foam-discharging, squeezable bottle is disclosed, which has a twist cap screwed onto the vessel body, the twist cap being composed of an inner cap and outer cap. The inner cap has formed therein two independent fluid-passing mechanisms at about its central position and at a position adjacent thereto, respectively. One of the fluid-passing mechanism is a liquid foam-generating mechanism comprising a pipe-shaped member having a net screen on one end thereof, and the other functions as a check valve. The outer cap has engaged inside of the foam-discharging opening an adapter fully covered with a net screen on one end located nearer to the contents of the vessel. This vessel enables one to rapidly discharge a uniform, creamy liquid foam by simple squeezing operation and, if desired, the foam can be sprayed by using an adapter having a small-diameter nozzle.
