Abstract:
A method of operating an elevator system in a building with at least one building door includes through opening and/or closing the building door the floor of the opened and/or closed building door is defined as the start floor and a destination call for an elevator car to the start floor is actuated. As soon as the elevator car has reached the start floor, an elevator door of the start floor is opened. As soon as at least one user has entered the elevator car, the opened elevator door is closed and the user is conveyed by the elevator car to a destination floor, wherein the destination floor is defined by a destination call stored for a start floor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of controlling access to floor within a building via elevator. The method includes receiving a passenger input indicating a desired destination floor a passenger seeks to travel to in an elevator, accessing a stored database containing data about which floors passengers are allowed to access via elevator when coming from the floor of the passenger input, determining if access is allowed based upon the desired destination floor and the data, and controlling operation of the elevator to deliver the passenger to the desired destination floor if access is allowed.
Abstract:
A group control system includes a destination operating panel by use of which a user registers a destination floor by manual operation before boarding an elevator car and an authentication device by use of which a user performs personal authentication by inputting personal identification information. The destination floor registration from the destination operating panel is prohibited with respect to prescribed prohibited floors and when personal authentication has been carried out by the authentication device, the prohibition of destination floor registration with respect to prohibited floors is canceled. The group controller assigns an optimum car from a plurality of elevators to the destination floor registered from the destination operating panel. In the elevator group control system, it becomes possible for a user to register his or her destination floor before boarding an elevator car without lowering the level of security of the system.
Abstract:
A person is detected before entering an elevator in a building, and a destination floor desired by the person is detected. When the person leaves the elevator, the floor on which the person leaves the elevator is detected using a further detecting device. An action is triggered if the floor on which the person leaves the elevator and the destination floor do not match.
Abstract:
A method for allocation of a user to a elevator installation, which is provided with a plurality of elevator cars and with a destination call control unit, wherein the user lodges a destination call at the destination control unit using a communications unit. The destination call control unit determines a group of elevator cars for serving the destination call and makes the group known to the user by the communications unit. The user selects an elevator car from the group by the communications unit. In addition, information for guiding the user to the selected elevator car is communicated to the user by the communications unit.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of operating an elevator system in a building with at least one building door (2, 2′, 2″). Through opening and/or closing the building door (2, 2′, 2″) the floor (1, 1′, 1″) of the opened and/or closed building door (2, 2′, 2″) is defined as the start floor and a destination call for an elevator car (7) to the start floor is actuated. As soon as the elevator cage (7) has reached the start floor, an elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) of the start floor is opened. As soon as at least one user has entered the elevator car (7), the opened elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) is closed and the user is conveyed by the elevator car (7) to a destination floor, wherein the destination floor is defined by a destination call stored for a start floor.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a lift installation with at least one lift car, at least one lift control and at least one mobile apparatus, and a control system for a controlling a lift installation. A reporting device near the lift installation receives at least one activation signal from a transmitting/receiving device of a mobile apparatus. The reporting device activates in response to the received activation signal. At least one network address of a recognition device of a lift control of the lift installation is transmitted from the activated reporting device to the transmitting/receiving device of the mobile apparatus.
Abstract:
In the method of the present invention, a procedure and an apparatus for the entry of calls in an elevator system are described. In the method, a destination call is entered outside the elevator car if the starting floor is a floor with intensive departing traffic. On other floors, the customer first enters a collective-control up or down call in the traditional manner and then a destination call in the elevator car. In an example of the method, the above procedure additionally comprises a function whereby the elevator customer is identified and an identified regular customer is allowed to select and confirm his/her destination floor from among one or more preprogrammed alternatives. As preprogrammed floors, the destination floors most frequently used by the regular customer in question are stored, the starting floor being fixed. Preprogrammed floors can be set for several different starting floors separately. When the customer is an occasional user of the elevator system or when a regular user is going to floors other than the preprogrammed floors, a call is entered as a destination call in the elevator lobby on floors with intensive departing traffic and as an up or down call according to collective control in the elevator lobby and on other floors.
Abstract:
A control device for transportation or access, and to a system for security control of persons/goods and/or for transporting persons and/or goods, and to a method of operating such a system wherein at least one response signal is emitted by at least one identification transmitter. This response signal is received by at least one recognition device and recognized with a recognition protocol. For one recognized response signal, one control signal according to a control protocol of the recognition device is emitted. The control device reads control signals according to at least two different control protocols and recognizes these control signals, and for one recognized control signal emits at least one secondary control signal.
Abstract:
A method for communication with a transportation system utilizes a human-machine interface with a control unit that constantly checks for the presence of contactlessly communicating information carriers. If a user with an information carrier is located in the reception range, the control unit requires the information carrier to transfer at least identification data of the user to the control unit. The control unit then displays an individualized communication surface matched to the respective user on the basis of the received data.
