Abstract: A passenger transport system has a device for registering users in a pass-through zone and the device includes at least two sensors, which sensors operate in accordance with the time-of-flight measurement principle, and a signal evaluation unit. Each sensor includes an emitter emitting electromagnetic waves into a detection area and a receiver, arranged adjacent to the emitter, that acquires the electromagnetic waves that were emitted by the emitter and reflected from the detection area, wherein the emitter and the receiver of each sensor are directed into the pass-through zone. At least one sensor of the device is respectively arranged on opposing sides of the pass-through zone and the principal direction axes of the detection areas of the sensors are arranged parallel to one another and orthogonal to the longitudinal extent of the pass-through zone.

Abstract: In an elevator system, floor terminals can be actuated by a control unit in one of at least two operating modes. A screen unit of a floor terminal can generate a user interface with a functional scope dependent on the operating mode. An individual functional scope can be defined for each operating mode. The control unit can determine a local traffic volume at the first floor terminal location. The local traffic volume can be compared with at least one threshold value that is defined for the traffic volume at the first floor terminal to generate a comparison result. A desired operating mode of the first floor terminal can be defined based on the comparison result and the operating mode in which the control unit actuates the first floor terminal. The first floor terminal can be actuated in the defined desired operating mode.

Abstract: A building door system has operating and wayfinding devices, wherein each of the operating and wayfinding devices is assigned to a respective single-door system and can be connected to one another for communication with a communications network. Each operating and wayfinding device has a storage device storing an identifier, a control and processing device, a recognition device for detecting a credential of a person, and a display device, which has a user interface facing outdoors. When an invalid credential for the single-door system is detected, the control and processing device generates a request signal containing data of the credential and the individual identifier and feeds this into the communications network. The control and processing device receives a response signal via the communications network, extracts wayfinding information contained in the response signal and assigned to the credential, and activates the display device to display the wayfinding information on the user interface.

Abstract: A system and method determine the position of an elevator car movably arranged in an elevator shaft of an elevator system. The system has a 3D sensor, an evaluation unit communicating with the sensor, and a marking element. The sensor has a plurality of sensor cells and the evaluation unit uses measurement data received from the sensor to determine a distance from each sensor cell to a part of a detected object. The sensor is arranged such that in a normal mode of the system it detects the marking element as the object. The evaluation unit determines the position of the elevator car in the elevator shaft based on distances from sensor cells to the detected part of the object, continuously performs a test as to whether the sensor detects the marking element and brings the system into an error mode as soon as the test is negative.

In addition, the guideway of the adapted layout is checked using division sections and the layout is transformed into a subdivided two-dimensional layout. The latter is overlaid with fields of defined structure, wherein the resulting overlaid layout serves as a starting point for arranging profile bar datasets in the three-dimensional space.

Abstract: A setting tool used in a method for percussively driving an anchor rod into a borehole in a substrate has a drive-side end and, in an opposite tool direction, an end facing away from the drive.
