Abstract: A user equipment includes a receiving unit configured to receive a configuration of a resource pool; a communicating unit configured to receive a physical control channel and a physical shared channel in the resource pool; a control unit configured to determine whether a response relating to retransmission control associated with the resource pool is enabled or disabled, based on the configuration of the resource pool; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the response relating to the retransmission control with respect to the received physical shared channel, upon determining that the response relating to the retransmission control is enabled.

Abstract: Techniques for controlling parameters for uplink transmission associated with a device to facilitate improving a communication condition metric(s) (CCM(s)) of the uplink transmission are presented. A communication management component (CMC) can determine whether CCM satisfies a first threshold CCM. If CCM does not, CMC can modify a parameter(s) to reduce a number of resource blocks or an MCS value to improve the CCM. If respective minimum threshold levels have been reached for the number of resource blocks and MCS value, and CCM still is not satisfying the first threshold CCM, CMC can modify a parameter to increase an amount of repetition of data packets for uplink transmission (unless a maximum threshold amount of repetition is reached). If CCM satisfies an applicable threshold CCM for a defined amount of time, CMC can modify parameters to increase the number of resource blocks, increase MCS value, or reduce repetition of data packets.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive first signaling, and may transmit a first wake-up signal (WUS) based on information associated with a channel, where the information may be determined based on receiving the first signaling. The UE may monitor one or more channels, during a duration, for one or more signals based on transmitting the first WUS. If the UE fails to receive the one or more signals via the one or more channels during the duration, the UE may transmit a second WUS after the duration. The UE may communicate second signaling with a network entity based on transmitting the first WUS based on the information and successfully receiving the one or more signals, or based on transmitting the second WUS after the duration and successfully receiving one or more additional signals.
