Abstract: A framework section having a connection region which is formed on the end face of at least one of its two ends. The connection region can be connected to the connection region of a further framework section. The framework section can include two upper chord sections and two lower chord sections, which extend parallel to one another in the longitudinal direction of the framework section and are connected to one another by connecting struts such that they define a cuboid space. The upper chord sections and the lower chord sections can have a tubular cross section, wherein the upper chord sections and the lower chord sections can also be configured to transition from the tubular cross section into an I-shaped cross section in the connection region.

Abstract: A brake device for braking a traveling body movable along a guide rail in a movement direction includes a holder mounting a brake element that has a brake surface directed toward the guide rail, the brake element being movable relative to the holder between a free-running position and a braking position. A pretensioning element is activated to exert a force that moves the brake element toward the braking position. A release element holds the pretensioning element in a holding state and is activated into a released state to reconfigure the pretensioning element from a deactivated configuration into the activated configuration. A pressing element in an actuated state generates a force on the brake element in a direction toward the guide rail to enable a reset of the brake device.

Abstract: A building system includes an elevator system installed in a building. First and second waiting zones for users of the elevator system are specified, wherein the second waiting zone is located in an access region to an elevator of the elevator system. The building system further includes a call input apparatus that receives an elevator call from a user located in the first waiting zone or in a fixed environment of the first waiting zone, and a control apparatus that is communicatively connected to the call input apparatus. In response to a call input from the first waiting zone, the control apparatus can either request the user to wait there until they are called to go into the second waiting zone or can request them to immediately enter the second waiting zone. An allocated elevator can be communicated to the user in the first or second waiting zone.

Abstract: A safety brake includes a first brake element, a first guide element, and an actuating element. The first brake element is mounted in a displaceable manner in a linear bearing on the first guide element. The first guide element can be moved between a rest position and a braking initial position. Abstract: A method for moving an elevator car of an elevator for evacuating passengers from the elevator car in the event of a power failure, wherein a brake blocks a vertical movement of the elevator car, includes the steps of: applying an electrical pulse or a plurality of electrical pulses to the brake of the elevator car to release the brake and unblock the vertical movement of the elevator car, the brake being released for as long as the particular electrical pulse is applied to the brake; determining a covered height which the elevator car has covered during the application of the particular electrical pulse; comparing the determined covered height with a predetermined distance; and terminating the application of the particular electrical pulse to the brake when the determined covered height is equal to or greater than the predetermined distance.
