The at least one detection contact includes a second soldering portion (223). Each of the first soldering portions and the second soldering portion includes a soldering area soldered to respective one of the wires, and all of the soldering areas are disposed at a common horizontal plane, arranged in a straight line, and soldered to corresponding wires at same time.
Abstract:
A receptacle connector assembly has a first shell including a plurality of side walls, a receiving cavity surrounded by the side walls and extending therethrough along a front-to-back direction. A number of spring fingers are formed on the respective side walls and protruding inwardly into the receiving cavity. A number of punched holes receiving the respective spring fingers communicate with the receiving cavity. An insulative body includes a base assembled to the first shell and a tongue extending forwardly therefrom. The tongue is received in the receiving cavity and has a top face and a bottom face disposed in a vertical direction. A number of contacts are arranged in a side-by-side manner along a transverse direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction and the vertical direction. A second shell covers the first shell and encloses the punched holes therein. An insulative case encloses the second shell therein.
Abstract:
A cable connector assembly includes an insulative housing, a cable defining a number of core wires, and a number of conductive terminals held in the insulative housing. Each conductive terminal includes a contacting portion, a soldering portion soldered to the cable, and a middle portion between the contacting portion and the soldering portion. The conductive terminals include a number of first terminals in a row and a number of second terminals in another row. Both the first terminals and the second terminals include a pair of power terminals and a pair of grounding terminals. The soldering portion of only one kind conductive terminal of the first terminals is bent to a plane of the soldering portion of a corresponding conductive terminal of the second terminals with same function to form a shared soldering portion. The shared soldering portion is electrically connected to a corresponding core wire.
Abstract:
A plug connector assembly includes a mating member, a cable, an internal member, and a strain relief member. The mating member includes an insulative body, some terminals, a latch, and an insulative member. The latch includes a base portion, a latching arm extending from a respective side of the base portion, and a latching portion projecting from an end thereof The internal member has some recessing portions on an surface thereof The strain relief member has some projecting portions filling the recessing portions. A method of assembling the plug connector assembly comprises molding an internal member to enclose a respective part of the mating member and molding plural recessing portions on an outer surface of the internal member, and molding a strain relief member to enclose a respective part of the internal member and molding plural projecting portions on the strain relief member to fill the recessing portions.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a first insulative housing (21), a number of first contacts (22) retained in the first insulative housing, and a metallic shell shielding on the first insulative housing. Each first contact comprises a main portion, a contacting section (2211) in front of the base portion, and a soldering section (2201) behind the base portion. Each first contact has a first sub-contact (220) and a second sub-contact (221) stacked with each other. The first sub-contact (220) comprises a first main section (2202) and the soldering section, the second sub-contact (221) comprises a second main section (2210) and the contacting section, the first main section is superimposed on the second main section to form the main portion, and the main portion of the first contact has a larger thickness than the contacting section and the soldering section.
Abstract:
