Abstract:
A filter device includes a filter element (9) received in a housing (1). The housing can be closed by a cover part (3) having fluid ducts (35, 41). A connecting unit is provided to create a fluid-conducting connection between the filter element (9) and an associated fluid duct (35) of the cover part (3). The connecting unit is in the form of a coupling having a movable coupling part (33) creating the fluid connection in the functional state.
Abstract:
A replaceable oil filter sub-assembly for use with an oil filter housing having an oil drain passageway extending outwardly from an interior volume of the oil filter housing, the oil filter sub-assembly including a filter element having a filter medium defining an upstream side and a downstream side of the filter element and an oil drain passageway sealing rod assembly having a first end configured for oil sealing engagement with the oil drain passageway of the oil filter housing, the oil drain passageway sealing rod assembly being separate from the filter element and extending through the interior volume of the filter housing at the upstream side of the filter element.
Abstract:
A liquid filter cartridge is provided. Preferred seal arrangements are provided, to provide for preferred axial load conditions, with respect to one or more of the end caps of the cartridge. Some cartridge configurations provided include no core structure or outer liner structure therein, to support axial load. Assemblies using the cartridge, and methods of assembly and use, are provided. The liquid filter cartridge can be a serviceable cartridge, or it can be retained permanently in a housing.
Abstract:
A cup-shaped housing assembly for a device for separating liquid from air has a cup-shaped housing body having an interior. At least one annular filter element for separating liquid from air is arranged in the housing body. A housing cover closes off an end face of the housing body. The housing cover has an inner side that is facing the interior and an outer side that is facing away from the interior. The housing cover has at least one raw air inlet through which raw air is supplied to the interior. The housing cover has at least one clean air opening though which filtered clean air is discharged from the interior. For sealing the raw air inlet relative to the clean air opening, at least one sealing surface is arranged at the outer side of the housing cover across sections thereof.
Abstract:
A filter cartridge in accordance with the present disclosure has a longitudinal axis and comprises a housing, a filter element, and a collar. The housing has a generally cylindrical sidewall and defines an open first end, an axially opposite second end, and a flange projecting radially away from the axis at the first end. The filter element has a ring of filter media circumscribing the axis and extending between first and second end caps. The first end cap has a generally cylindrical wall extending axially between first and second peripheral rims. The wall defines first and second seal glands adjacent the first and second rims which receive first and second seal members, respectively. A ledge projects radially outwardly from the cylindrical wall. The collar has an annular sidewall having a shoulder projecting from an inner surface. The ledge and the shoulder radially overlap and retain the flange therebetween.
Abstract:
A liquid filter has a housing with an outlet line for liquid and a vent line, one being arranged in a drain housing socket on the housing. A closure element closes off outlet line and vent line. An annular space socket coaxially surrounds the drain housing socket outwardly and delimits with the drain housing socket an annular space to which the vent line or the outlet line is connected. The closure element has a collecting pot with bottom and a closure socket arranged at the bottom that fits within the annular space and is coaxially attached to the drain housing socket for axial movement. A sealing area on the bottom externally surrounds the drain housing socket. When the closure element is closed, the sealing area seals a free end face of the annular space socket. The fluid collecting pot has a liquid drain opening outside of the sealing area.
Abstract:
A filter device having a filter element (9) forming a body extending along a longitudinal axis received in a housing (1) closed by a cover part (3). A sealing arrangement (49) is provided to form a fluid-tight seal between the housing (1) and the cover part (3). The sealing arrangement (49) is a component of a filter element (9) and is fixed to a sealing carrier (48) rigidly connected to the filter element.
Abstract:
Liquid filter arrangements are described and shown. The arrangements generally include a filter head, a seal adaptor, and a filter member comprising a shell enclosing a cartridge. Unique features for interface between the filter cartridge and the filter head are provided. Also provided are unique filter head features and cartridge features.
Abstract:
A fluid treatment unit and a sealing structure which is preferably for the fluid treatment unit are provided. The sealing structure includes: a cylinder with an opening formed at one end thereof, the cylinder comprising an inner wall surface and an outer wall surface, and an outer thread being provided on the outer wall surface; a sealing cover which is capable of hermetically cooperating with the inner wall surface of the cylinder to seal the opening; a support cover which is capable of being connected with the cylinder by thread engagement; when the support cover and the cylinder are relatively rotated in order to achieve a threaded connection of the support cover and the cylinder, the support cover is capable of supporting the sealing cover and impelling it to move in parallel so as to allow the sealing cover to reach a position at which it seals the opening.
Abstract:
A filter may include ac over defining a chamber and an annular filter element arranged within the chamber. The filter may also include a housing and at least one intermediate piece arranged between the cover and the housing when the cover is screwed to the housing. An inlet duct may be in communication with an untreated side of the filter element and an outlet duct may be in communication with clean side of the filter side of the filter element and an outlet duct may be in communication with a clean side of the filter element. A drainage duct may be arranged in the housing for draining the chamber during removal of the cover. A closure device may be arranged in the intermediate piece and have a closure element configured to close the drainage duct.
