Abstract:
The present invention is a spray nozzle including a nozzle having a supply port receiving liquid and a spray orifice through which liquid is sprayed, wherein the nozzle is made by combining a plurality of nozzle-divided bodies, each of the plurality of nozzle-divided bodies having a vane element integrally formed therein to rotate the liquid provided from the supply port.
Abstract:
A washer nozzle for a screen wash system of a motor vehicle has a pre-assembled structural unit of a jet insert and a check valve. This structural unit is pressed into a shaft of a housing. This makes the washer nozzle particularly easy to install.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an economical washer device of a headlamp for a vehicle includes a nozzle unit integrally mounted onto a nozzle cover, the nozzle unit including a washer discharging opening and a washer introducing opening, wherein a washer liquid is fed through the washer introducing opening and selectively discharged through the discharging opening, and a slide drive unit integrated with the nozzle unit and configured and dimensioned to rotatably support the nozzle unit when the nozzle unit is rotated by an ejection pressure of the washer liquid discharged.
Abstract:
A spray head for a power sprayer configured to generate a continuous sheet-like water shield around a center stream of water is disclosed. A water delivery device for use with a sink is disclosed, the water delivery device may produce a stream of water surrounded by a continuous shield of water.
Abstract:
A vehicle window clearing assembly includes a fluid outlet directing a fluid stream across an exterior surface of a window. The fluid outlet is mounted on an exterior structure of a vehicle to direct fluid streams for clearing away moisture build up on the window exterior.
Abstract:
A spring disk with a concentric through bore and a concentric counter bore of specific depth in used to hold an orifice against a lapped surface of a nozzle cap in a waterjet assembly. Dimensions are chosen to provide adequate restraint without the need to force the orifice onto the spring disk. When orifice, spring disk and the retaining cap are assembled and the cap is tightened on the inlet nozzle, the spring disk is forced to the cap surface and the orifice becomes securely held and centrally aligned within the assembly.
Abstract:
In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, liquid material enters circumferencially into a generally cylindrical outer walled chamber. A baffle may be provided to facilitate circumferencial flow. The tangential, circumferencial flow tends to reduce turbulence. In the outer chamber a top wall is provided and a cushion of air is located between the top wall and the top of the liquid medium to effect cushioning. After circumferencial flow, the liquid flows radially inwardly into an inner fluid chamber through a plurality of openings in an inner cylindrical wall. Within the inner chamber and spaced between the bottom wall and the top wall is a diffuser section. The diffuser section provides a large plurality of parallel fluid flow paths to dampen remaining major currents by lowering the fluid velocity and thus the Reynolds number. The upper surface is arcuate. Thus fluid flows radially upwardly and inwardly to a knife-edged type orifice which results in laminar fluid flow exiting therefrom. In a preferred embodiment, a light source is located within the inner chamber and is offset from the center line of the inner chamber. Focusing means are also provided in the inner chamber to direct the light path so as to align the light path with the orifice so that the light follows the laminar fluid flow.
Abstract:
A high-pressure fluid jet valve assembly is disclosed utilizing a double-acting piston actuated by a spool valve to reversibly actuate the valve stem. The valve stem selectively gates high-pressure cutting fluid through a seat arrangement directly into an output expansion section. Directly coupled to the expansion section is a valve head holding a jewel holder used to shape the high-pressure fluid beam for cutting purposes. The valve seal, stem and seat arrangement are designed to prevent leaching of the stem by the effect of high-pressure water, yet allow the cycling time in the order of 25 milliseconds.
Abstract:
A spray nozzle assembly for a windshield of an automobile includes a housing having at least one upwardly extending vertical wall and an interior chamber therein, wherein a plurality of passageways extend outwardly from said interior chamber. A mounting leg having a continuous bore therethrough is affixed onto the housing, wherein the bore communicates with the interior chamber. The leg is adapted to be received by a fluid supply assembly. A plurality of spray nozzle members are embedded into passageways, wherein the spray nozzle members are recessed into the upwardly extending wall. A deflector shield is affixed onto the housing for deflecting the fluid spray toward the windshield of the automobile.
