Abstract: A system for publishing digital images wherein a mobile device (14) that stores at least one digital image generates output signals in response to operator commands. The mobile device (14) communicates with a source of digital instructions (18) thorough a communication network (16) such that digital instructions are downloaded to the mobile device. The mobile device is thereafter in selective communication with a server (12) that stores digital images, maintains a user profile corresponding to the user of the mobile device, and publishes digital images to at least one digital address (24, 26, 28, 30).

Abstract: A system which enables an image forming apparatus to give priority to executing a job sent from a mobile information terminal. The mobile information terminal sets an operating mode of the image forming apparatus. Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a memory, a first obtaining unit, a second obtaining unit, and an updating unit. The memory stores setting information that is information for indicating a condition in which a user has utilized a function of the information processing apparatus. The first obtaining unit obtains, from a terminal apparatus, a user identification information for identifying the user, a function identification information for identifying a function utilized by the user, and apparatus identification information for identifying an apparatus that stores latest setting information used when the user has utilized the function most recently. The second obtaining unit obtains, in a case where the apparatus identified by the apparatus identification information is an external apparatus, the latest setting information from the external apparatus. The updating unit updates the setting information stored in the memory to the latest setting information obtained by the second obtaining unit.

Abstract: In the image processing device, method and system of the present invention, a destination identifier of an image file is stored, the destination identifier indicating one of a plurality of external stations as a destination station which receives the image file from the image processing device through a network. At least one of a sender identifier of the image file, a subject identifier of the image file and a scan condition of the image file is stored. The image file is transmitted, together with at least one of the sender identifier, the subject identifier and the scan condition, through the network to one of the external stations indicated by the stored destination identifier.

Abstract: An information processing system that that confirms the meanings of difference information in meeting content with reference to the sound information is provided. Differences between meeting content contained in image information of a paper medium taken at each detection cycle and meeting content contained in master information are extracted. Surrounding sounds are recorded while the meeting is being held. The sound information of the recorded sounds is associated with the difference information of the extracted differences and also associated with the master information with the timing when the differences of the meeting content are detected.

Abstract: An authentication control apparatus includes a first authenticating unit, a second authenticating unit, a controller, and an outputting unit. The outputting unit outputs information if the one of the authentication operations performed under the control of the controller does not succeed. The information prompts the user to input authentication information to be used in an authentication operation performed when the user uses the memory area.

Abstract: According to the present invention, when a terminal apparatus is brought close to a printing apparatus serving as a processing apparatus, the terminal apparatus uses its own NFC unit to acquire, from the printing apparatus, information for communicating with each of one or more network connection units provided in the printing apparatus. Then, using a communication unit, the terminal apparatus then searches for the printing apparatus on a network in accordance with the acquired information. In the case where the terminal apparatus has successfully identified the printing apparatus as being present on the network, the terminal apparatus transmits a processing request to the printing apparatus successfully identified on the network via the communication unit.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method for managing printing device software. The method includes receiving, at a computing device, a request to print a document file. The method also includes receiving a selection of a particular printing device with which to print the document file. The method further includes performing a search operation to determine whether a printer driver for the particular printing device is stored on the first computing device. Additionally, the method includes causing a data transfer of the printer driver from a server onto the first computing device over a wide area network upon determining that the printer driver is not stored on the computing device. Further, the method includes converting, using the printer driver, the document file into a print job. The method also includes transmitting, to the particular printing device, instructions to execute the print job.
