Abstract:
A personal media player (PMP) uses a digital media processing system—comprising a video rendering subsystem, a music rendering subsystem, and a picture rendering subsystem—to produce moving-video (video), audio (music), still-graphics (picture), and other output rendered from media files ported to the PMP from another source. The PMP further comprises a user interface system, a display unit system, a power source system, and a data port system utilizing Universal Plug and Play functionality, all of which are coupled directly or indirectly to the digital media processing system. The physical components constituting the aforementioned systems and subsystems are then encased in a portable housing unit suitable for hand-held use and ready portability.

An image forming device includes a scanner configured to generate a manuscript image by scanning a manuscript, a storage configured to store the manuscript image, an image processor configured to generate a preview image by adjusting resolution of the manuscript image, a communication unit configured to transmit the preview image to a display apparatus, and a controller configured to, in response to an editing operation with respect to the preview image being performed in the display apparatus, receive editorial data from the display apparatus and edit the manuscript image.
Abstract:
A technology that enables accurate position specification on an image displayed on a screen to perform processing and correction of the image data is provided. When the image is printed on a sheet on which a dot pattern is printed, a reference point of the image on the display device is set and the reference point is printed in a visible mark together with the image. This mark is imaged with an imaging means, and calibration is performed in which position coordinates of the marks on the sheet and the reference points of the image are matched, thereby preventing variation in coordinates between designation made on the sheet with the imaging means and processing on the image.

A vehicle entertainment system includes a cradle disposed in a headrest of a vehicle and having a slot, and a vehicle entertainment unit including a display and a locking mechanism. Upon placing the vehicle entertainment unit in the cradle, the locking mechanism is inserted into the slot to fixedly lock the vehicle entertainment unit in the cradle. Upon fixedly locking the vehicle entertainment unit in the cradle, a space aligned with the locking mechanism is disposed between a first side of the cradle and a first side of the vehicle entertainment unit. The space is shaped and dimensioned to receive a removal tool that contacts the locking mechanism through the space to disengage the locking mechanism from the slot.

Embodiments of the systems, devices and methods described herein generally facilitate performing Bluetooth pairing between a first device and a second device. In accordance with one example embodiment, a first device generates a barcode that encodes Bluetooth pairing data for transmission to the second device, wherein the pairing data comprises a Bluetooth address associated with the first device, and wherein the pairing data further comprises a personal identification number usable to complete the Bluetooth pairing, the barcode is transmitted to the second device, and Bluetooth pairing is performed with the second device.

A display processing unit causes a display device to display a screen on the basis of screen image data. A screen change detecting unit watches the screen image data and detects a change of the screen image data. A transmission processing unit transmits the screen image data to a monitoring apparatus if the screen change detecting unit detected a change of the screen image data. A storage device stores excluding condition data. The transmission processing unit does not transmit the screen image data if the detected change of the screen image data satisfies the excluding condition specified by the excluding condition data and transmits the screen image data if the detected change of the screen image data does not satisfy the excluding condition specified by the excluding condition data.

An ordering apparatus for printing has a touchscreen panel, where a user screen view is displayed. A list display area and a specific display area are defined in the user screen view. Thumbnail images of input images are displayed in the list display area. A particular thumbnail image of a designated input image for printing is displayed in the specific display area. The thumbnail images are displayed in an upward and downward scrollable manner. The particular thumbnail image is displayed in a scrollable manner to the right or left. Thus, erroneous scroll in an unintended display area of a screen view can be prevented effectively.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a video processor for a magnifier camera. In particular, the disclosure relates to a video processor that eliminates the use of a frame buffer. This, in turn, reduces the latency otherwise present in the video signal. The disclosed video processor also allows selected portions of the display to be shaded. This highlights the non-shaded portions of the display while at the same time allowing the entire object to be perceived by the user.

A display apparatus including: a display controller for displaying a view of simplified images based on medical data having accompanying information of a plurality of attributes as metadata, wherein said view of simplified images being a matrix-like view in which the simplified images of the same patient are arranged by accompanying information of one attribute in a row direction and arranged by accompanying information of another attribute in a column direction; and an input unit in which an operator performs input of changing the attribute in at least one of the row and column directions. The display controller rearranges the simplified images by accompanying information of the attribute that the operator changed using the input unit.
