    Abstract: A regenerative pump includes a housing defining a cavity having a fluid inlet arrangement and fluid outlet arrangement, and a channel having an open volume extending between the fluid inlet arrangement and the fluid outlet arrangement. A rotatable shaft extends into the housing. An impeller is mounted to the shaft within the cavity and has a plurality of vanes spaced circumferentially around the axis and opening into the channel. An arm arrangement at least partially defines walls of the channel. The arm arrangement is radially movable to vary the volume of the channel. Enlarging the volume of the channel inhibits regenerative circulatory flow during pumping and limits the pressure generated.

    Abstract: A valvetrain assembly comprising a first body and a second body, wherein the second body comprises a first wall and a second wall. The valvetrain assembly further comprises a first latch pin, wherein the first latch pin is configured to latch the second body to the first body and unlatch the second body from the first body. A portion of the first latch pin is located between the first wall and the second wall. The valvetrain assembly also comprises a movable shaft, wherein the movable shaft is configured to move the first latch pin. The valvetrain assembly comprises an electromagnet, wherein the electromagnet is configured to move the movable shaft.

    Abstract: A switching system includes: a first switching apparatus; a second switching apparatus; a holding assembly between the first switch apparatus and the second switch apparatus, the holding assembly configured to hold one or more fuse devices; and a linking interface connected to the first switching apparatus and the second switching apparatus, the linking interface having only two stable interface positions: a first interface position and a second interface position. Transitioning the linking interface from the first interface position to the second interface position simultaneously changes the state of the first switching apparatus and a state of the second switching apparatus.

    Abstract: A castellation assembly can comprise a first toothed body comprising a first toothed end and a biased end comprising a projecting lever. The projecting lever can be configured to extend out from the biased end and contact an actuation lever throughout a travel of the first toothed body. The second toothed body can comprise a base and a second toothed end configured to mesh between or stack against the first toothed end. A castellation spring can be configured to push the first and second toothed body apart. An actuator assembly can actuate the castellation assembly and comprise an actuating lever assembly configured to reciprocate between a contacting position against the projecting lever and a clearance position spaced from the projecting lever. A rocker arm in a valvetrain can be controlled for variable valve actuation thereby.

    Abstract: Systems include a prime mover that generates power for a mobile vehicle; a power converter that receives a portion of the generated power, and provides configured electrical power to an aftertreatment heater device configured to selectively heat an exhaust fluid of the prime mover; at least one aftertreatment component positioned downstream of the aftertreatment heater device, and configured to treat a constituent of the exhaust fluid; and a controller including an operating conditions circuit structured to interpret an operating parameter of one of the power converter, the aftertreatment heater device, the prime mover, or the exhaust fluid; a heater management circuit that determines a heating power value in response to the operating parameter; and a heater control circuit that provides a heating command in response to the heating power value; and wherein the power converter is responsive to the heating command to heat the exhaust fluid of the prime mover.
