Abstract: A detection device for communicating with an external device includes a smart antenna, a storage device, and a processor. The smart antenna is capable of switching between a plurality of antenna modes. In each of the antenna modes, the smart antenna transmits a test datum and receives a feedback datum according to the test datum, the processor performs a time reversal algorithm to the feedback datum so as to obtain a time reversal datum, the processor calculates an indicator according to the feedback datum and the time reversal datum, and the storage device stores the feedback datum, the time reversal datum, and the indicator. The processor compares all of the indicators with each other and controls the smart antenna to select the final mode of the antenna modes according to a comparison between all of the indicators.

Abstract: A mobile device includes a metal back cover, a ground metal element, a feeding radiation element, and a dielectric substrate. The metal back cover has a slot. The feeding radiation element has a feeding point, and includes a first feeding branch, a second feeding branch, and a third feeding branch. The second feeding branch and the first feeding branch extend in opposite directions. The third feeding branch and the first feeding branch extend in the same direction. The feeding radiation element has a vertical projection on the metal back cover, and the vertical projection at least partially overlaps the slot. The dielectric substrate is disposed adjacent to the metal back cover. The ground metal element and the feeding radiation element are disposed on the dielectric substrate. An antenna structure is formed by the feeding radiation element and the slot of the metal back cover.

Abstract: An antenna control method for controlling an antenna device to switch between a plurality of beams. The antenna control method includes the steps of: (a) using the beams for communication one after another, and performing a scanning process on each of the beams, so as to retrieve a communication quality parameter; (b) comparing all of the communication quality parameters with each other, and selecting one of the beams as a main communication beam, wherein the selected beam has the best communication quality parameter; (c) performing a saturation determination process on the main communication beam; and (d) when the main communication beam causes saturation of a power amplifier, switching to another beam which is adjacent to the main communication beam as a substitute communication beam.

Abstract: A switch, a system for power management and a method for power management are provided. Multiple modules are included in the switch. A determination module determines whether a system time of the switch is in a preset time interval. If yes, a switch module switches the switch to a first mode and sends a first switch signal indicating the first mode to multiple access points (APs). A collecting module collects coverage over clients of each of the APs. A searching module searches for at least one first AP among the APs based on the coverage of each of the APs. An adjustment module disables at least one second AP among the APs other than the at least one first AP after a preset time.
