Based on the determined user cohort and the assessed task, a drone of the drone-based system provides help to the one or more users as the one or more users assemble the object. The drone-based system may comprise a drone and one or more memories and computer readable code and one or more processors. The one or more processors, in response to execution of the computer readable code, cause the drone-based system to perform operations. The drone-based system may be only the drone or the drone and one or more servers.

Abstract: A system and method for traffic data collection using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are disclosed. A particular embodiment is configured to: deploy an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), equipped with a camera, to an elevated position at a monitored location or to track a specific target vehicle; capture video data of the monitored location or the target vehicle for a pre-determined period of time using the UAV camera; transfer the captured video data to a processing system; at the processing system, process the captured video data on a frame basis to identify vehicles or objects of interest for analysis; group the video data from multiple frames related to a particular vehicle or object of interest into a data group associated with the particular vehicle or object; create a data group for each of the vehicles or objects of interest; and provide the data groups corresponding to each of the vehicles or objects of interest as output data used to configure or train a human driver model for prediction or simulation of human driver behavior.

Abstract: A system and method for optimizing a rescue operation of an individual. The method comprises maintaining, by an individual engaged in an activity, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) associated with and in proximity to the individual. For storage at the UAV, the individual records at a recording device a message. A sensor device is configured to detect a situation requiring a need to rescue the individual at a current location, and generates a trigger signal in response to a detection. In response to the receipt of the trigger signal, a current GPS location of the individual is recorded and a launching of the UAV to traverse a flight-path to a destination location. At or before arriving at the destination location, the UAV contemporaneously provides the stored recorded message and current GPS location of the individual to an emergency response authority to inform of the individual's situation and location.

Abstract: A system enabling remote-controlled piloting of multirotors with first-person-video to play games. Each multirotor has a transmission system and a detection system. The transmission system acts as a gun that transmits an electromagnetic radiation signal and the detection system acts as a shot detector by detecting the electromagnetic radiation signal. Game information can be processed and overlaid on the first person video provided to the player piloting the multirotor. Each multirotor may include a lighting system and a LASER to provide visual cues to other players and observers. Some embodiments utilize flag devices in a capture-the-flag game mode.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes identifying one or more recognition signals from a live video stream of an assembly of people, wherein each recognition signal indicates a request by one or more members of the assembly of people to speak and is identified based, at least in part, on a cognitive system. The computer-implemented method further includes entering each of the one or more members into a recognition queue based on a priority level assigned to each of the one or more members. The computer-implemented method further includes detecting at least a first voice command. The computer-implemented method further includes, responsive to detecting at least the first voice command: Releasing a first member from the recognition queue; Delivering a microphone, via an autonomous vehicle, to the first member; and activating the microphone within a threshold distance of the first member. A corresponding computer program product and computer system are also disclosed.

Abstract: Several embodiments include a remote tracker for a videography drone. The remote tracker can include a spatial information sensor and a microphone configured to capture audio data surrounding the remote tracker. The remote tracker can also include a logic control component configured to decorate the audio data with location-based metadata or temporal metadata. A network interface of the remote tracker can communicate with the videography drone, including streaming the audio data captured by the microphone to the videography drone.

Abstract: In some embodiments, methods and systems of identifying at least one pest based on crop damage detection in a crop-containing area include an unmanned vehicle including at least one sensor configured to detect at least one type of pest damage on at least one crop in the crop-containing area and to capture pest damage data. An electronic database includes pest damage identity data associated with one or more crop-damaging pests, and a computing device communicates with the unmanned vehicle and the electronic database via a network. The unmanned vehicle transmits the captured pest damage data via the network to the computing device and, in response to receipt of the captured pest damage data from the unmanned vehicle, the computing device accesses the pest damage identity data on the electronic database to determine an identity of one or more pests responsible for the detected type of pest crop damage.
