Abstract:
Provided is an elevator group control system which is excellent in convenience and can prevent a decrease in operation efficiency even when an elevator is used by a group of a plurality of persons. For this purpose, there are installed in an elevator hall a destination operating panel by use of which users register their destination floors before boarding and a group boarding registering device for registering that users use an elevator as a group. The number of users expected when users use an elevator as a group is stored beforehand in a user head-count storage section. When registration of a destination floor by use of the destination operating panel has been performed at the same time with registration of a group use by use of the group boarding registering device, a car to be assigned to a hall car call is determined on the basis of the number of users stored in the user head-count storage section.
Abstract:
The invention provides an elevator cab equipped with an emergency medical device, such as an automated external defibrillator (AED). The elevator cab equipped with the emergency medical device may be controlled in order to deliver the emergency medical device to a floor of a building on which an emergency medical situation occurred. In response to emergency medical input identifying the emergency medical situation, an elevator control unit overrides regular operation of the elevator cab in response to receiving emergency medical input, and directs the elevator cab to a floor on which an emergency medical situation occurs. For example, the elevator control unit may cancel active floor calls made by passengers within the elevator cab or individuals on one or more floors of the building and direct the elevator cab to the floor of the emergency situation.
Abstract:
An elevator control system for controlling movement of cages up and down in accordance with the situation of waiting persons in landing places or passengers in the cages detected by image pickup devices and other detecting devices includes first and second image processors, the image processing level of the second image processor being not lower than that of the first image processor. The system further includes an elevator controller for controlling movement of the cages up and down, the elevator controller including a device for applying the result of image processing performed by the first image processor to the control of the cages, and a device for applying the result of image processing performed by the second image processor to the control of the cages when the image processing is carried out based on the result of image processing performed by the first image processor and other information pertaining to passengers and waiting persons detected by the other detecting devices.
