Abstract: A bird detection device equipped with: a captured image acquisition unit that acquires a captured image; a bird candidate image extraction unit that extracts a bird candidate image, which is a candidate bird image, from the captured image; and a bird detection determination unit that, on the basis of the time required for the bird candidate image to move in accordance with the size of the bird candidate image in the captured image, determines whether a bird has been detected. The bird detection determination unit also can determine whether a bird has been detected on the basis of the degree of change in the shape of the bird candidate image for a prescribed time interval.

An aggregate potential force vector may be determined by aggregating the magnitudes and directions of the individual potential force vectors. It may be determined whether the potential forces exerted on the virtual object are conflicting.

Abstract: There is provided an image processing device. A feature point acquiring unit acquires a plurality of feature points of objects of each frame image. A grouping unit performs a grouping process of dividing the feature points into groups corresponding to the individual objects. A masking unit performs a masking process of excluding feature points included in some areas of the frame image. A highlighting-image generating unit generates highlighting images for highlighting objects of the frame image corresponding to the feature point groups. A superimposed-image generating unit superimposes the highlighting images on the frame image, thereby generating a superimposed image.
