Abstract:
An authentication processing portion of an MFP requests user authentication to a server based on user information including at least a user ID input from a mobile terminal apparatus or an operation panel. The server has a user authentication portion which performs the user authentication and a UI instruction portion which specifies, when the user authentication succeeds, a UI image displayed on a display panel of the apparatus for operating the MFP depending on the user ID, and instructs the MFP to display the UI image on the apparatus. The MFP executes image output in accordance with a user operation received from the apparatus through the wireless communication portion in a state where the UI image is displayed on the apparatus.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting an image and an electronic device thereof are provided. An image transmission method of an electronic device includes displaying a message transmission/reception history with at least one other electronic device, sensing a selection of a camera execution menu, displaying a preview screen of a camera within a screen in which the message transmission/reception history is displayed, detecting a touch on the displayed preview screen, if the displayed preview screen is touched, capturing an image of a subject, detecting a gesture for the captured image, and, if the gesture for the captured image is detected, transmitting the captured image to the at least one other electronic device according to the detected gesture.
Abstract:
Provided are embodiments of systems and methods related to labeling, and more particular to labeling that may be guided by regulatory requirements. A system comprises an electronic device having a user interface capable of displaying a WYSIWYG image of a label and providing access to regulatory information related to the displayed label. The system may further determine compliance with regulatory guidelines by a user-edited label. The electronic device may be, or be in communication with, a label printer to initiate printing of a displayed label. A method includes the steps of accessing a WYSIWYG image of a label and accessing regulatory information related to such label using a handheld electronic device. The method may further include the steps of verifying compliance of a label with regulatory guidelines or requirements and initiating printing of such label, which may be adhesive.
Abstract:
A central system for receiving captured transaction data from a plurality of remote capture devices over a network, the remote capture devices including a mobile device type and a fixed location device type, the system comprising: a receipt module to receive the captured transaction data; a processing module to process the received captured transaction data; and a storage module to store the processed transaction data such that characteristic data of the mobile device type is associated with the stored transaction data for said processed transaction data originating from a remote capture device of the mobile device type.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments provide a system that facilitates the execution of a print job. During operation, the system receives, at a printer, a signal from a portable electronic device indicating the printer has been selected for the print job. Next, in response to the selection, the system generates an output that facilitates identification of the printer by a user of the portable electronic device. The system also provides a mechanism for confirming physical access to the printer by the user. Upon confirming the physical access to the printer by the user, the system establishes a connection between the portable electronic device and the printer, wherein the connection is subsequently used by the portable electronic device and the printer to perform the print job.
Abstract:
An information providing device is capable of communicating with an image forming device, a data managing device, and a transmission terminal. The information providing device includes a storage unit; a communication unit that transmits a forming instruction to instruct the image forming device to perform image forming, and receives, from the image forming device, storage location information indicating the data managing device that stores data obtained by image forming by the image forming device and indicating a storage location in the data managing device; and a storage location managing unit that generates, in the storage unit, management information in which identification information of the image data is associated with the storage location information. The communication unit receives the data saved in the storage location indicated by the storage location information from the data managing device and transmits the received data to the transmission terminal.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed. The present invention includes a user interface unit configured to receive a user input and a user action, a controller configured to generate a first gallery including a first image saved in the mobile terminal included in a first application and generate a second gallery in response to the user input or the user action by linking the first application to a second application based on printing information on the image, the controller controlling an image printing by controlling a connection to a printable device, an output unit configured to output a second image of the generated second gallery, and a transmitting unit configured to transmit a signal including the outputted second image and a request for printing the second image to the connected printable device.
Abstract:
In various embodiments, methods, systems, and computer program products for processing digital images captured by a mobile device are disclosed. Myriad features enable and/or facilitate processing of such digital images using a mobile device that would otherwise be technically impossible or impractical, and furthermore address unique challenges presented by images captured using a camera rather than a traditional flat-bed scanner, paper-feed scanner or multifunction peripheral.
Abstract:
In a method for projecting pictures onto a projection using a projector device, the method triggers a camera of the projector device to capture an image of the projection screen displaying a first picture, and obtains the image of the projection screen from the camera. The method obtains a position, a size and a slant degree of the second picture, and notifies the second electronic device to send the second picture to the projector device. The method processes the second picture according to the obtained position and size and slant degree, and integrates the first picture and the second picture by processing the second picture sent from the electronic device according to the obtained position, size and slant degree, and triggers the first projecting unit to project the integrated picture onto the projection screen.
Abstract:
A method is described for determining a description of motion of a moving mobile camera to determine a user input to an application. The method may involve capturing a series of images from a moving mobile camera and comparing stationary features present in the series of images. Optical flow analysis may be performed on the series of images to determine a description of motion of the moving mobile camera. Based on the determined motion, a user input to an application may be determined and the application may respond to the user input, for example, by updating a user interface of the application.
