    Abstract: A process for producing a benzoxazine containing free aliphatic hydroxyl groups and monoester comprising the steps of: a) a reaction of a phenolic acid derivative with a monofunctional oligomer or molecule at a temperature of from 80° C. to 200° C., during 12 h-48 h, in a presence of a Bronsted type acid catalyst, resulting in a monophenol terminated oligomer or molecule and b) reaction of the monophenol terminated oligomer or molecule of step a) with a mixture of an amino-alcohol, a primary amine derivative and paraformaldehyde at a temperature range of from 80° C. to 100° C., from 1 h to 48 h, under stirring.

    Abstract: A magnetic sector including magnetic means, a yoke including a first magnetic portion, and a deflection gap in the first magnetic portion. The magnetic sector is configured such that the magnetic means are adapted for generating a magnetic field through the deflection gap in order to deflect charged particles moving in the deflection gap. The yoke further includes a second magnetic portion having a magnetic shunt including a shunt passage for the charged particles. The magnetic shunt directs a magnetic flux leaked from the deflection gap into the first magnetic portion.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to core-shell nanoparticle, the nanoparticle comprising a core being one or more selected from vaterite, proto-vaterite, and amorphous calcium carbonate as determined by X-Ray diffraction, remarkable in that the nanoparticle further comprises a shell of polyphenol, wherein said polyphenol is selected to be insoluble in water, to show a pH ranging from 5 to 9 when measured in a solution of one or more polar solvents and water at a concentration of 10 wt. % based on the total weight of said solution and wherein said polyphenol is at least partially soluble in said one or more polar solvents. A method for forming such nanoparticle as well as their use and the use of polyphenol as shell of shell-core nanoparticle is also described.
