Abstract: The invention provides an automotive lighting device with a circuit support, an optics support, a holder support and a microlenses support. The optics support includes optical elements, each one being arranged in front of one of the solid-state light sources of the printed circuit board. The optics support further includes positioning protrusions configured to fit the positioning housings of the circuit support. The holder support includes a plurality of opaque walls, a first coupler and a second coupler. Each opaque wall is located between two optical elements. The microlenses support includes a plurality of groups of microlenses, each group having a plurality of microlenses arranged to receive the light projected by one optical elements. The first coupler is configured to couple the holder support to the circuit support. The second coupler is intended to retain the microlenses support.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor vehicle's light module for lighting or signaling device purposes and includes at least one light source mounted on a support, an optical unit that engages the light source that forms a light beam and a locating system, which includes at least one locating pin inserted into a locating orifice. The support contains at least one locating pin and the locating orifice while the optical unit has the other locating pin and locating orifice. The locating pins include two facing parts where one of the parts is identified as the rigid part, and the other of the parts is identified as the flexible part, where the one part is more rigid than the other of the two facing parts.

Abstract: A method for controlling a lighting system of a motor vehicle including a generator for generating a pulse-width modulated signal having a first peak intensity or a second peak intensity higher than the first peak intensity, and a light source. The method includes reception of an instruction to emit a light beam according to a given target luminous flux, selection of a peak intensity from the first and second peak intensities depending on the given target luminous flux. Also included is determination of a target duty cycle of a pulse-width modulated signal having the selected peak intensity depending on the given target luminous flux and the efficiency of the light source, and generation of a target signal having the selected peak intensity and the determined target duty cycle and provision of the target signal to the light source.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for managing image data in a motor vehicle lighting system, the lighting system including at least one lighting module intended to project light beams, the light beams being generated from data relating to the selection of at least one image, each image being respectively defined by a matrix including a plurality of horizontal or vertical rows of pixels, with each pixel having a numerical value related to a light intensity of the pixel. The method includes determining whether the pixel under analysis is considered to be a significant point of inflection of the image, so as to transmit it to at least one lighting module, so that it is able to project a resulting image.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for light projection in the interior of an automotive vehicle. The method includes sensing, by at least one sensor, the presence of an object or person in the interior of the vehicle, wherein the sensor comprises a plurality of image sensing devices. A protection zone is defined by using the data of the at least one sensor, thus obtaining a three-dimensional protection zone. A first light pattern is projected with a first pattern zone by means of a first projector associated to a first image sensing device. A second light pattern is projected with a second pattern zone by means of a second projector associated to a second image sensing device, wherein the first pattern zone and/or the second pattern zone are projected over the protection zone and wherein the light pattern forms a projected image on an interior surface of the automotive vehicle.
