A device may perform an initial association with a first transition peer. The device may include an MLD link identification (ID) within a fast basic service set transition element (FTE) of a reassociation request or reassociation response frame, wherein the MLD link ID identifies an individual link of the plurality of links. The device may perform a second association with the second transition peer.

Abstract: Provided herein are apparatuses and methods for multiplexed transmission and reception of Relay node. An apparatus includes interface circuitry; and processor circuitry coupled with the interface circuitry, wherein the processor circuitry is to: decode a first-hop message received from a first node via the interface circuitry to obtain a message body; generate, in response to the first-hop message, a first-hop response message for transmission to the first node; generate a second-hop message including the message body for transmission to a second node; and multiplex the first-hop response message with the second-hop message in a same frame for transmission of the first-hop response message and the second-hop message simultaneously. Abstract: An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) is configured for transmission of a control response frame for rate selection. In response to a frame carried in an EHT PPDU soliciting a control response frame, the EHT STA may calculate a duration of a non-HT PPDU containing the control response frame sent at a primary rate, The EHT STA may also encode a high-efficient (HE) single-user (SU) PPDU (HE SU PPDU) for transmission to carry the solicited control response frame when a transmit time of the encoded HE SU PPDU is less than the calculated duration of the non-HT PPDU, or encode an EHT PPDU for transmission to carry the solicited control response frame when a transmit time of the encoded EHT PPDU is less than the calculated duration of the non-HT PPDU. A reduction in overhead may be achieved by using an HE SU PPDU or an EHT PPDU instead of a non-HT PPDU to carry a solicited control response frame.

Abstract: A non-Access Point Extremely High Throughput Station (non-AP EHT STA) initiates a Quality-of-Service (QoS) setup by sending a Stream Classification Service (SCS) Request frame to an associated access point (AP). The SCS request frame may be encoded to have a request type field set to “Add” and may contain an SCS Descriptor element having a traffic description field, a traffic classification field, and a Multi-Link Operation (MLO) field. The non-AP EHT STA may decode an SCS Response frame from the AP that indicate whether the QoS setup has been added. The non-AP EHT STA may then exchange a QoS traffic flow with the associated AP in accordance with the QoS setup when the QoS setup has been added. When the QoS traffic flow ends, the non-AP EHT STA may encode a second SCS Request frame for transmission to the AP with the request type field set to “Remove” to delete the QoS setup.
