    Abstract: An M.2 fastening system has an M.2 riser card with two module-receiving sides and a plurality of adjustment positions. The M.2 fastening system further has a pair of M.2 fasteners mounted respectively on the module-receiving sides. Each M.2 fastener has a main body defined by a top surface and a bottom surface; a module attachment extending from the top surface; and a hook extending from the bottom surface along a lateral side of the main body. The hook of one of the M.2 fasteners is received through an attachment aperture of an adjustment position. The hook is pressed-fit over the top surface of the main body of another M.2 fastener. The hook secures the M.2 riser card between the pair of M.2 fasteners in a tool-less manner.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a chassis housing one or more electronic components, a module configured to be inserted into a channel defined by the chassis, and an alignment mechanism disposed in the channel. The alignment mechanism has a body portion that defines an aperture. When the module is initially inserted into the channel in a first orientation, a first portion of the module passes over the aperture and compresses the body portion of the alignment mechanism along a first axis, to allow the module to be fully inserted into the channel. When the module is initially inserted into the channel in a second orientation, a second portion of the module passes through the aperture and does not compress the body portion of the alignment mechanism along the first axis, to prevent the module from being fully inserted into the channel.

    Abstract: A fixture and method are directed to releasably couple the fixture to a semi-flexible printed circuit board (PCB)/printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) at a flexible PCB/PCBA portion. The fixture includes a body with a first arm and a second arm extending from a base, an interior surface of the first arm facing an interior surface of the second arm. A first ridge extends from the interior surface of the first arm and defines a first gap between the first ridge and the interior surface of the second arm. The first gap is sized to receive and support a flexible PCB/PCBA portion. At least one second ridge extends from the interior surface of the first arm and defines a second gap between the at least one second ridge and the interior surface of the second arm. The second gap is sized to receive and support a rigid PCB/PCBA portion.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a fan module and an elongated lens. The fan module includes a housing and a cover plate having a plurality of apertures. The elongated lens includes a head portion that extends through one of the apertures of the cover plate. The head portion has a first dimension and a second dimension. The aperture also has a first dimension and a second dimension. The first dimension of the head portion is less than the first dimension of the aperture and is greater than the second dimension of the aperture. When the first dimension of the head portion is aligned with the first dimension of the aperture, the aperture permits the head portion to pass through the aperture. When the first dimension of the head portion is aligned with the second dimension of the aperture, the aperture prevents the head portion from passing through the aperture.

    Abstract: A computing device is provided with a slot that includes a first locking element and a second locking element configured to receive a removable general purpose graphic processing unit (GPGPU) carrier.
