The invention relates to a food-grade high-temperature lubricant, more particularly a high-temperature oil and a high-temperature grease, comprising the following components: a) at least one oil selected from a trimellitic ester or a mixture of different trimellitic esters, alkylaromatics, preferably an aliphatically substituted naphthalene, or estolides; b) a hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene or a mixture of hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene; and c) additives individually or in combination. In the case of the high-temperature grease, a thickener is added.
Abstract:
A grease composition using lubricating base oil that is biodegradable by microorganisms in nature and has an affinity to the human body is provided. More particularly, a distillation residue secondarily generated in production of biodiesel from vegetable oil (soybean oil and canola oil) is used as the lubricating base oil.The grease composition is produced by adding 1 to 20 wt % of additives to 100 to 95 wt % of distillation residues, which is generated in production of biodiesel, and 1 to 30 wt % of thickeners.

The object of the invention is a traction sheave elevator and a rope that contains metal as a load-bearing material, such as the suspension rope of an elevator, which rope comprises at least one or more strands laid from metal wires and which rope is lubricated with a lubricant. Another object is the use of the aforementioned lubricant for lubricating the rope. The lubricant comprises at least oil and thickener, which thickener in the lubricant comprises at least 10% or more of the mass of the lubricant.

A composition for a lubricating fast-setting epoxy compound comprising substantially equal amounts of an epoxy base and an epoxy accelerator. The epoxy base comprises: a first micro-crystalline filler, a first talc, a hardenable epoxide containing liquid; and a titanium oxide. The epoxy base can also include a flatting agent. The epoxy accelerator comprises: a second micro-crystalline filler, a second talc, a methylamino accelerator, and a hydrocarbon resin. The present invention provides a friction control composition comprising a binder a rheological control agent, and optionally a lubricant. The liquid friction control composition may also comprise other components a wetting agent, a consistency modifier, and a preservative. The liquid friction control compositions may be used to modify the interfacial friction characteristics in sliding and rolling-sliding contact such as steel wheel-rail systems including mass transit and freight systems. A method of reducing lateral force, reducing energy consumption, or controlling friction between a metal surface and a second metal surface by applying the composition to metal surface, for example a top of rail or wheel, is also provided. The composition may be sprayed onto the rail surface.

A grease-like silicone composition comprising at least a liquid organopolysiloxane comprising siloxane units represented by the formula R2SiO2/2, siloxane units represented by the formula RSiO3/2, and siloxane units represented by the formula R3SiO1/2 and a thickening agent. A grease-like silicone composition is provided that is capable of containing a large amount of thickening agent and possesses superior heat resistance.

Lubricating grease compositions have a titanium complex grease component along with a mineral/synthetic oil-based component and a conventional soap or grease. The conventional soaps and greases may be lithium complex, calcium sulfonate, or aluminum complex-based, among others, with and without additives. The compositions are high performance geases, exhibiting improved drop point, extreme pressure, antiwear, oil separation, and shelf life properties.

The rolling bearing of the invention to be incorporated in the compressor for fuel cell system comprises a fluorine-based grease containing a fluororesin and a fluorine-based oil, a urea grease containing a urea compound and a synthetic oil or a lithium complex grease containing a lithium complex and a synthetic oil encapsulated therein. In this arrangement, the grease deterioration of the rolling bearing incorporated in the compressor for force-feeding various fluids between machines can be prevented, making it possible to provide a fuel cell system which can maintain stable operation over an extended period of time.
