Abstract: A system for exchanging GPS or other position data between wireless devices for purposes of group activities, child location monitoring, work group coordination, dispatching of employees etc. Cell phones and other wireless devices with GPS receivers have loaded therein a Buddy Watch application and a TalkControl application. The Buddy Watch application communicates with the GPS receiver and other wireless devices operated by buddies registered in the users phone as part of buddy groups or individually. GPS position data and historical GPS position data can be exchanged between cell phones of buddies and instant buddies such as tow truck drivers via a buddy watch server. Emergency monitoring services can be set up with notifications to programmable individuals in case an individual does not respond. Positions and tracks can be displayed. TalkControl simplifies and automates the process of joining talk groups for walkie talkie services such as that provided by Nextel.

The second communication unit is in electrical communication with the electronic device. A charging unit is provided. Each of the first communication unit and the second communication unit is selectively placed in electrical communication with the charging unit. Thus, the charging unit charges each of the first communication unit and the second communication unit.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating agent-caller communication during a call is provided. An incoming call is assigned to an agent and a script selection is received from the agent based on a particular problem identified during the call. The script is provided to a caller participating in the call. Text messages and voice input are received from the caller. The received text messages are directly forwarded to the agent. The voice input is transcribed into written text and provided to the agent. Text messages are received from the agent in response to one or more of the voice input and text messages from the caller. The text messages from the agent are transformed into synthesized speech utterances. A record of the call is generated by compiling the text messages and transcribed written text from the caller and the text messages from the agent.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a first row of graphical representations, each corresponding to a context element of a route sequence map of a first user. The route sequence map includes context elements organized in a hierarchical structure, each context element having one or more property values specifying an action to be performed by the server or a link to one or more child context elements in the hierarchical structure. In response to a selection of a first graphical representation from the first row, a first message having at least a first identifier (ID) of the first graphical representation is transmitted to the server. A second message is received from the server in response to the first message, the second message including data identifying a second row of context elements of the route sequence map. The second row is displayed as a child row to the first row.
