A mobile phone includes an elongate body defining a transverse print media path along which print media can be fed. A storage device is provided in which an image to be printed can be stored. A printhead and ink supply module is contained within the body and includes an elongate printhead integrated circuit (IC) which extends transverse to the path. The printhead IC is configured to print the stored image upon the print media. A feed mechanism is located within the body and is configured to feed the print media along the path during printing of the captured image.

A camera system includes a video camera having a first mating mechanism defined on a bottom, planar surface of the video camera. A battery assembly contains an energy cell and a first surface of the battery assembly is releasably engageable with the mounting mechanism such that the battery assembly is suspended beneath the video camera, with the bottom, planar surface of the video camera in substantial contact with the first surface. A support apparatus having a second mating mechanism is also provided, the second mating mechanism releasably engaging a second surface of the battery assembly.

A digital picture frame device is provided with image acquisition capabilities. The digital picture frame device may include a display device mounted on a hinged lid. An image acquisition device may be located beneath the hinged lid. The image acquisition device may, for example, be a line scanner in which successive scan line images of an object are obtained as the scan head moves in relation to the object being scanned. Alternatively, the image acquisition device may be a two dimensional image acquisition device. In this manner, an image of a desired object can be acquired and displayed on the digital picture frame device without the need for a separate image acquisition device. Alternatively, the digital picture frame device may be provided without a hinged lid. In this case, an object to be scanned may be fed into the digital picture frame device through a slot. A drive mechanism, e.g., drive rollers, may be provided to move the object through the digital picture frame device past a stationary line scanner device or to a position adjacent a two dimensional image acquisition device.

The print processor communicates with a mobile phone processor by means of a user-interface integrated circuit.An imaging device is incorporated into the cellular phone and mounted in a manner that allows its position to be adjusted.
