    Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for a power control procedure in a 5G NR and beyond wireless network. The instructions cause the UE to perform operations including decoding RRC signaling received from a base station. The RRC signaling includes one or more open-loop power control parameters. A reference signal received power (RSRP) is determined. The RSRP is associated with a reference signal received from the base station using a receive beam. A path loss associated with the receive beam is determined based on the RSRP. A transmission (Tx) power is determined using the one or more open-loop power control parameters and the path loss. The Tx power is adjusted based on a power threshold shared between at least two antenna panels of a plurality of antenna panels. Uplink data is encoded for transmission to the base station according to the adjusted Tx power.

    Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for multiple component carrier repetition transmissions in a 5G NR network, and to cause the UE to perform operations comprising decoding DCI received via a PDCCH. The DCI includes transport block (TB) information and scheduling information. The scheduling information indicating scheduled transmissions of multiple repetitions of a PDSCH TB using multiple component carriers. A TB size associated with the scheduled transmissions is determined using the TB information. The multiple repetitions of the PDSCH TB am decoded. The multiple repetitions are received from one or more base stations during the scheduled transmissions. PDSCH data is determined based on the multiple repetitions of the PDSCH TB and the TB size.

Code block interleaving of a subset of code blocks of the plurality of code blocks is performed to generate an interleaved bitstream. The operations further include causing transmission of the multiple sets of time-domain samples.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for transmission of PDSCH and HARQ-ACK feedback in 5G networks are described. The TDRA of PDSCH repetitions are indicated in a DCI by a SLIV sequence configuration that contains multiple SLIV sequences. Each SLIV sequence for a slot is associated with an independent repetition factor and may also be associated with a partition factor to indicate a partition within the slot. One or more TRPs may be used to transmit each PDSCH repetition. The TCI states are mapped to the PDSCH repetitions in a round-robin fashion using an offset in terms of number of PDSCH repetitions from where TCI state switching starts and a number of consecutive PDSCH repetitions per TCI state. The HARQ-ACK bits in response to the PDSCH from the TRPs are concatenated in order of increasing control resource set higher layer signaling index.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for transmission of full power uplink transmission in 5G networks are described. The gNB provides TPMI precoding information in DCI of a PDCCH in which the field size for precoding information and number of layers are fixed irrespective of the SRI. The gNB indicates in RRC signaling the use of codebook-based transmission for UL. If different SRS resources with different number of antenna ports are configured, the bitwidth of the SRI field is the maximum number of ports among the configured SRS resources in an SRS resource set with usage set to ‘codebook’. If the number of ports for a configured SRS resource in the set is less than the maximum number of ports, the most significant bits of the field have a value of ‘0’. The bitwidth is dependent on UE coherence capabilities and a maxrank of the UE.
