    Abstract: A driving assist system for a vehicle includes a plurality of sensors having respective fields of sensing exterior of the vehicle. A control includes a data processor that processes data captured by the sensors. The control, via processing of captured data, determines a path of travel for the vehicle. The control, via processing of captured data, determines presence of a pedestrian at or near or approaching the determined path of travel for the vehicle. A projection device is disposed at the vehicle and is operable to project light exterior of the vehicle. The projection device (i) projects light onto the ground that is indicative of the determined path of travel of the vehicle for viewing by the determined pedestrian and/or (ii) projects an alert icon onto the ground to alert the determined pedestrian that the determined pedestrian is at or near or approaching the determined path of travel of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vision system of a vehicle includes a camera configured to be disposed at an exterior portion of a vehicle so as to have a field of view exterior of the vehicle. The camera includes a lens. A washer includes a connector and fluid passageway. The washer is configured to be detachably attached at the camera when the camera is disposed at the exterior portion of the vehicle. When attached at the camera, the connector is configured for connection to a washer system of a vehicle such that, when the vehicle washer system is actuated, pressurized fluid flows through the fluid passageway and onto the lens.

    Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a camera module configured to be disposed at a vehicle. An image processor processes multiple frames of image data captured by the imager of the camera module. With the camera module disposed at the vehicle, the heating device is activated to heat a lens of the camera module responsive to determination of lens occlusion at the lens. Responsive at least in part to determination of lens occlusion at the lens, and via processing of frames of captured image data while the heating device is activated, the vehicular vision system determines a change in degree of lens occlusion occurring between capture of a previous frame of captured image data and capture of a current frame of captured image data. The heating device is deactivated responsive to determination that the change in degree of lens occlusion is less than a threshold amount.

    Abstract: A vehicular camera assembly includes a camera housing, a circuit board having an imager and a first electrical connector. A rear portion of the camera housing includes an attachment portion having an aperture, and includes a first electrically conductive element at the aperture. A second electrical connector is attached at the rear portion of the camera housing. The second electrical connector includes (i) a connector portion for connecting to a vehicle wire harness, (ii) a connecting end for connecting to the first electrical connector, and (iii) a second electrically conductive element for electrically connecting to the first electrically conductive element. As the second electrical connector is attached at the rear portion of the camera housing, the first electrically conductive element engages the second electrically conductive element to establish and maintain electrically conductive connection between the first and second electrically conductive elements.

    Abstract: A vehicular driver monitoring system includes a camera disposed at an interior rearview mirror assembly of a vehicle equipped with the vehicular driver monitoring system, an electronic control unit (ECU) with an image processor for processing image data captured by the camera. The camera includes an imaging array sensor and a lens and the camera is adjustable by at least one of (i) adjusting a position of the imaging array sensor relative to the lens and (ii) adjusting a position of the lens relative to the imaging array sensor. The system, responsive to processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, monitors a body portion of a driver of the vehicle and adjusts the camera to adjust the position of where the monitored body portion of the driver is imaged at the imaging array sensor.

    Abstract: A vehicular camera includes a camera housing having a first portion and a second portion joined to the first portion. The first portion of the camera housing accommodates a lens and has an attaching portion having a first coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE). A circuit board includes circuitry disposed at a circuit board substrate that has a second CTE that is different from the first CTE. The circuitry includes an imager.
