Abstract: A vehicle power distribution system includes a battery having a nominal voltage, a vehicle electrical load having a supply voltage different than the nominal voltage, and a monolithic solid state relay including integrated circuitry to convert the nominal voltage to the rated voltage and an output configured to selectively energize the vehicle electrical load with the rated voltage in response to a control signal from a vehicle controller applied to an input of the relay. The relay may include a PWM controller to provide a switching signal to a transistor connected to an output filter to step down the nominal voltage of the battery to the rated voltage of the vehicle electrical load. Relay output voltage and current monitoring circuitry may be connected to the PWM controller to provide over current and over voltage protection.

Abstract: A system and a method for controlling a low voltage DC/DC converter (LDC) of a hybrid vehicle is provided in which a fuel efficiency mode for artificially turning off pulse width modulation (PWM) control of the LDC is added, thereby improving fuel efficiency. Accordingly, the fuel efficiency mode for artificially turning off the PWM control of the LDC is added, so that when the fuel efficiency mode is performed, power of an auxiliary battery is temporarily supplied to an electric field load, thereby reducing power consumption of a main battery and improving fuel efficiency. Further, when the auxiliary battery is separated, power of the main battery is temporarily supplied to the electric field load by performing the PWM control of the LDC, to prevent a phenomenon that power is not supplied to the electric field load when the auxiliary battery is separated.

The steering power system includes: a steering motor; a steering motor controller, configured to control the steering motor; a high voltage power battery, configured to output a first voltage; a low voltage storage battery, configured to output a second voltage; a buck DC-DC converter, configured to convert the first voltage into the second voltage for being supplied to the low voltage storage battery when a high voltage system works; and a boost DC-DC converter, configured to convert the second voltage into the first voltage. When the high voltage system has an abnormal power failure, the boost DC-DC converter converts the second voltage outputted from the low voltage storage battery into the first voltage for being supplied to the steering motor controller.

Abstract: A motor drive device includes: an inverter circuit that has three switching elements corresponding to three phases of a three-phase motor coil, converts a DC applied voltage of a power source to an AC voltage by a PWM, and output the AC voltage to the motor coil; a voltage detection device for the DC applied voltage; and a control device that controls the PWM. The control device selects a first modulation method, for fixing the on/off-state of a part of the switching elements and for switching the on/off-state of the other part of the switching elements, or a second modulation method, for switching the on/off-state of the switching elements corresponding to three phases. The control device switches from the first modulation method to the second modulation method when the DC applied voltage is equal to or greater than a predetermined voltage, and the first modulation method is selected.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electric power conversion control device, in which when an overvoltage abnormality of an electric power system is detected, and it is detected that a vehicle is not in collision, a switching control unit stops the switching of an inverter, whereby an element of the inverter is prevented from being subjected to an overvoltage. In a case where an overvoltage abnormality of the electric power system is detected, and when it is detected that the vehicle is in collision, the switching control unit performs the switching of the inverter, whereby electrical energy of the electric power system is rapidly consumed by a motor generator. Accordingly, it is possible to properly control the switching of an electric converter depending on whether an overvoltage abnormality occurs and a vehicle is in collision.

Abstract: An object is to provide a semiconductor device that is capable of wireless communication, such as an RFID tag, which can transmit and receive individual information without checking remaining capacity of a battery or changing batteries due to deterioration with time in the battery for a drive power supply voltage, and maintain a favorable a transmission/reception state even when electric power of an electromagnetic wave from a reader/writer is not sufficient. The semiconductor device includes a signal processing circuit, a first antenna circuit connected to the signal processing circuit, an antenna circuit group, a rectifier circuit-group and a battery connected to the signal processing circuit. The first antenna circuit transmits and receives a signal for transmitting data stored in the signal processing circuit and drives a power supply circuit, and each antenna circuit of the antenna circuit group receives a signal for charging the battery and includes an antenna which has a different corresponding frequency.
