Abstract: To improve sensing sensitivity of a touch panel. A touch panel-attached display device includes an active matrix substrate 1, a counter substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. On the active matrix substrate 1, a TFT (display control element) 42, a first insulating film 44, a plurality of pixel electrodes 31, a second insulating film 46, and a counter electrode 21 are laminated in order. In the active matrix substrate 1, a control unit which detects a touch position by supplying a touch driving signal to a plurality of counter electrodes 21, and a touch sensor wiring 22 which is formed between the first insulating film 44 and the second insulating film 46, which connects the control unit and the counter electrode 21, and which is for supplying the touch driving signal from the control unit to the counter electrode 21, are also formed. A thickness of a portion in the second insulating film 46 formed between the counter electrode 21 and the touch sensor wiring 22 is thicker than a thickness of a portion formed between the pixel electrode 31 and the counter electrode 21.

Abstract: The in-cell touch display panel has a display area and a non-display area. Display IC bounding pads and touch pads are disposed in the non-display area. A touch electrode corresponds to more than one pixel structures. A touch sensing line is electrically connected to the touch electrode and one of the touch pads. A data line is electrically connected to a thin film transistor and one of the display pads. At least one of the display pads is disposed between two of the touch pads, and at least one of the touch pads is disposed between two of the display pads.

Abstract: The invention provides a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate and a display panel. The TFT array substrate is disposed with multiple pixels arranged in an array. Each pixel includes first through third sub-pixels sequentially arranged along a first direction. The first through third sub-pixels are connected to a same scan line. The TFT array substrate further is disposed with first through third data lines sequentially arranged along the first direction. The first through third data lines respectively are for driving the first through third sub-pixels. The first sub-pixel includes first and second areas, the second sub-pixel includes third and fourth areas, and the third sub-pixel includes fifth and sixth areas, arranged along a second direction. A voltage difference between a sub-pixel electrode in the sixth area and a common electrode is different from a voltage difference between a sub-pixel electrode in the fifth area and the common electrode.

Abstract: An in cell touch panel and a method for driving the same, and a display device are provided. A transparent conductive layer is divided into second touch electrodes and common electrodes, that is, a conventional entire common electrode layer is divided into second touch electrodes and common electrodes insulated from each other; accordingly, during a display operation, both the second touch electrodes and the common electrodes are applied with common electrode signals; and, during an touch operation, ones of the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes are applied with touch scanning signals while the other ones of the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes are coupled to the touch scanning signals and perform outputting, so that a touch function and a display function are achieved by asynchronous drivings. The second touch electrodes are manufactured such that no additional steps should be included for sole manufacture of the second touch electrode.

Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to apply a sufficient electrical field to a liquid crystal material in a horizontal electrical field liquid crystal display device typified by an FFS type. In a horizontal electrical field liquid crystal display, an electrical field is applied to a liquid crystal material right above a common electrode and a pixel electrode using plural pairs of electrodes rather than one pair of electrodes. One pair of electrodes includes a comb-shaped common electrode and a comb-shaped pixel electrode. Another pair of electrodes includes a common electrode provided in a pixel portion and the comb-shaped pixel electrode.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display apparatus is provided. The liquid crystal display apparatus includes a graphene LED backlight source, a first polarizing film, a first substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a second substrate and a second polarizing film. The graphene LED backlight source is used for providing light output, the first polarizing film is used for converting the light output from the backlight source into a polarized light. The liquid crystal layer includes liquid crystal molecules used for deflecting the polarized light from the backlight source to form a polarized output light, and the second polarizing film is used for emitting the polarized output light.
