Abstract:
A loudspeaker rigging system having upwardly extending connecting links comprises splay adjustment and pivot links slidingly disposed in splay adjustment and pivot link stowing channels in a frame structure for the sides of a loudspeaker in a stack of loudspeakers, the splay adjustment and pivot links upwardly movable from stowed to linking positions, in the linking position the splay adjustment and pivot links linkable with locking pin holes in the bottom of the frame structure of a superjacent loudspeaker, the splay adjustment link having a plurality of splay angle slots of various lengths, the splay angle slots aligned with a plurality of splay angle selection pin holes in the frame structure, such that upon insertion of a linking pin in a selected splay angle selection pin hole and corresponding aligned splay angle slot the splay angle link may be raised upward to a selected splay angle.
Abstract:
A sound reproduction device includes a superdirective speaker having a first surface, and an attachment part having a second surface opposed to the first surface. The first surface has a convex face, and the second surface has a concave face which can come into contact with the convex face. A curvature of the convex face is set larger than that of the concave face. A direction of emitting a sound wave of the superdirective speaker can be adjusted by making the convex face move along the concave face.
Abstract:
A sound bar apparatus for a flat-panel television is disclosed. The sound bar apparatus for the flat-panel television includes a left loudspeaker box, a right loudspeaker box and a sound bar host. The left loudspeaker box includes left loudspeaker support plates, a plurality of loudspeakers located on the left loudspeaker support plates and connected with the sound bar host, a left transmission device and an up transmission device. The right loudspeaker box includes right loudspeaker support plates, a plurality of loudspeakers located on the right loudspeaker support plates and connected with the sound bar host, a right transmission device and an up transmission device. The sound bar apparatus of the present patent application can achieve better acoustics and improve the listening experience of the audiences when watching a big television screen at a long distance.
Abstract:
An audio device incorporates a plurality of acoustic drivers and employs them to form either a first acoustic interference array generating destructive interference in a first direction from the plurality of acoustic drivers or a second acoustic interference array generating destructive interference in a second direction from the plurality of acoustic drivers in response to the orientation of the casing of the audio device relative to the direction of the force of gravity.
Abstract:
A customizable audio earpiece includes an ear bud body with an ear bud size of which is adjustable along with some control over its orientation. The ear bud body comprises a ball point with teeth that couples to a mating cavity with teethed groves to movably lock or snap with each other on an ear bud stick. The flexibility of one or more petal shaped fingers provides an adequate level of stiffness for the ear bud when resting therein. The teeth on the ends of these petal shaped fingers releasably couple to teeth on a speaker body. In this way, users have varying size of ears with different size of ear canal cavities and conchal bowls can comfortably use the customizable audio earpiece.
Abstract:
A supporting bracket has a base and a positioning column. The base is mounted on a bottom bracket to form a stand. The positioning column is attached to base and has a first positioning piece and a second positioning piece. The first positioning piece us formed on the base and has a first inclined surface and an inclined slot. The second positioning piece is mounted slidably on the first positioning piece and has a second inclined surface and a slide mounted slidably in the inclined slot. Sliding the second positioning piece on the first positioning piece changes an outer diameter of the positioning column so that the positioning column may be fitted into mounting holes of different devices such as audio speakers.
Abstract:
A spa speaker system having a housing with a speaker mounted therein, wherein the housing is mounted within a hole in the wall of a spa. The speaker system is arranged at an angle within the housing, and is rotatable with respect to the hole. The system can also comprise a watertight membrane arranged to prevent water and contaminants from interfering with speaker components. A system for providing audio to a spa is also disclosed. The system comprises a spa having walls and at least one speaker unit mounted in a spa wall. Each of the speaker units is capable of receiving an audio signal, and generating sound towards the occupants of the spa. Each of the speaker units comprises a speaker that is individually rotatable and arranged at an angle to direct the sound.
Abstract:
An automatic tilt speaker has a first subassembly of a speaker unit enclosing an ordinary speaker element. The speaker unit includes a cone-shaped housing having an inner cavity for holding the speaker with its frame or basket fitted snugly in an annular frame. The housing of the speaker unit is pivotally connected to the frame by a pivot arm. The speaker housing has an arcuate exterior wall extending in a radius centered about the pivot connection of the frame. Centrally of the arcuate wall, there is a gear arch, which comprises a vertical column of horizontally elongated teeth extending substantially coplanar with the arcuate wall. On the annular frame at the diametrically opposite side of the pivot connection a tilting system is operatively connected with the teeth. The tilting system includes a motor with a reduction gearbox for driving a worm gear, which in turn drives the gear arch. The annular frame also supports a relay-based motor control board for controlling the polarity and power to the motor. Combined with the power control is a position sensing system including three slight ramp surfaces on the arcuate wall of the speaker unit which translates into three segmented tilting angles to be remotely selected to the user's listening preference.
Abstract:
An audio speaker contains a tweeter capable of continuous rotation, where the audio speaker contains the tweeter and an axis mount assembly. The tweeter is removably connected to the axis mount assembly. The audio speaker also contains a first connection member capable of maintaining electrical communication with the axis mount assembly throughout continuous rotation of the axis mount assembly. The axis mount assembly contains a terminal plate connected to a bottom portion of the tweeter, where the terminal plate maintains electrical communication with the tweeter. The axis mount assembly also contains an axis mount faceplate capable of receiving the terminal plate and tweeter within an indented portion of a top portion of the axis mount faceplate. The axis mount assembly further contains an axis mount spacer and a second connection member that maintains electrical communication with the first connection member throughout continuous rotation of the axis mount assembly.
Abstract:
Audio reproducing apparatus reproducing an audio signal corresponding to a picture which localizes a sound image in a direction corresponding to the picture by processing an audio signal in a real-time fashion is supplied with an audio signal from a general-purpose signal source such as a laser disc a digital vibratory gyroscope detects a rotational angle of a listener's head. In response to the detected rotational angle, the audio reproducing apparatus subjects the audio signal to a predetermined signal processing in a real-time fashion. Thus, a sound image is localized in the direction corresponding to the picture projected on a screen from a projector.
