    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for physical layer (PHY) latency reduction. Some aspects more specifically relate to PHY protocol data unit (PPDU) designs that support inserting low-latency traffic into a transmission opportunity (TXOP) occupied by non-low-latency traffic. In some implementations, during a TXOP, an access point (AP) may output an aggregated PPDU (A-PPDU) that is aggregated in a time domain and includes an A-PPDU header and one or more A-PPDU subframes. The AP may obtain, from an application layer, a low-latency PPDU (LL-PPDU) subframe and may insert the LL-PPDU subframe in place of at least one of the one or more A-PPDU subframes. The AP may output the LL-PPDU subframe during the TXOP. A wireless station (STA) receiving the A-PPDU header and the one or more A-PPDU subframes may detect the presence of the LL-PPDU subframe and may receive and decode the LL-PPDU subframe.

The system receives a request from various users and identifies users accessing similar media content. The system further receives a direction of mobility and a radio capability from the users and determines a point of viewing with a corresponding buffer time.     Abstract: An Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) may include an O-RAN Centralized Unit (O-CU), at least one O-RAN Distributed Unit (O-DU), at least O-RAN Radio Unit (O-RU), and a Real-Time (RT) RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) coupled to the at least O-DU and configured to host at least one application for controlling the at least one O-DU over a real-time control loop with a latency of less than 10 ms. The O-RAN wireless system may include a Non-RT (Non-RT) RIC configured to manage resources and events having a latency of 1 second or greater, and may include a Near-RT RIC configured to manage resources and events having a latency of 10 ms to 1 second. In addition, O-RAN may include a Service Management and Orchestrator (SMO) platform, where the RT RIC is connected to at least one of the SMO, the Non-RT RIC, the Near-RT RIC, RAN network elements and the O-RU.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to migrating network traffic from a licensed spectrum to an unlicensed spectrum within the same radio access technology (RAT). In one aspect, a method includes identifying a user device connected to a cellular wireless access technology, over a licensed spectrum; determining whether a condition for switching network traffic associated with the user device to an unlicensed spectrum is triggered; in response to determining that the condition is triggered, determining an unlicensed spectrum to move the network traffic to, the unlicensed spectrum being within a same cell as the licensed spectrum or in a different cell compared to a cell in which the licensed spectrum is; and migrating at least a portion of the network traffic to the unlicensed spectrum while maintaining network connectivity of the user device over the cellular wireless access technology.
