    Abstract: A light pen includes a case, a light source, a pen-nib structure, a first lens device, an elastic piece, a hollow knob, and a linkage pipe. The pen-nib structure is disposed through the case. The first lens device is disposed between the light source and the pen-nib structure. The elastic piece is connected to the first lens device. The hollow knob rotatably sheathes the first lens device. The linkage pipe sheathes the first lens device and is connected to the hollow knob for driving the elastic piece to move away from the pen-nib structure when the hollow knob rotates to a first position, so that the pen-nib structure can move relative to the case. The linkage pipe is further used for being separate from the elastic piece when the hollow knob rotates to a second position, so that the elastic piece can be engaged with the pen-nib structure.

    Abstract: Provided herein are methods of treating a cancer in a subject comprising administering a FOXP3 protein, a nucleic acid encoding a FOXP3 protein, or an inducing compound which induces FOXP3 protein expression. Methods of altering a phenotype of a cancer cell or tumor cell, methods of inhibiting growth of such cells, and methods of inducing apoptosis of these cells are also provided herein. These methods comprise contacting the cell with a FOXP3 protein, a nucleic acid encoding a FOXP3 protein, or an inducing compound which induces FOXP3 protein expression. Further provided herein are diagnostic methods, comprising comparing the expression or structure of a FOXP3 protein or FOXP3 gene in a test sample to that of a normal or prior sample. A method of screening a test compound for anti-cancer activity comprising administering to cells the test compound and measuring FOXP3 protein or FOXP3 gene expression is moreover provided herein.

    Abstract: A method of drying comprises placing a moist material inside a substantially enclosed solar greenhouse. The greenhouse comprises at least one light transmission roof and/or wall panel that is substantially transparent to solar radiation, but resistant to convective and conductive heat transfer. The interior temperature and humidity of the greenhouse are maintained within their pre-determined ranges while the interior moisture of the greenhouse is effectively reduced to allow a controlled drying of the material. A solar greenhouse for the drying process is also disclosed.

    Abstract: The disclosure describes systems and methods for determining spam. A spam detecting system identifies potential spam messages by checking the relationship between a sender of a message and a recipient of the message. The spam detecting system identifies the relationship between the sender and recipient as ‘unknown’ or ‘trusted’. If the message is ‘trusted’, the message is transmitted accordingly to the recipient. If the message is classified as ‘unknown’, then the message is analyzed in view of other identified potential spam messages where an count is tallied against a threshold value to keep track of the probability a message is spam.
