Abstract:
The present invention relates to treating a hematologic cancer using a Hypoxia-Inducible Factor (HIF inhibitor). The invention also relates to inducing acute myeloid leukemia remission using the HIF inhibitor. The invention further relates to inhibiting a maintenance or survival function of a cancer stem cell (CSC) using the HIF inhibitor.
Abstract:
A method and system for identifying impact of a traffic incident on a road network, wherein the impact may be measured in terms of a spatial-temporal-impact region, in terms of incident duration from the time the incident is reported to the time at which the affected road network returns to recurrent flow conditions, and in terms of a cumulative time delay of all affected drivers.
Abstract:
The signal processing apparatus contains a first signal transforming circuit and a second signal transforming circuit. The first signal transforming circuit includes four first coupled lines and two second coupled lines, wherein two ends of each first coupled line are configured to carry a first pair of differential signals respectively, each second coupled line is magnetically coupled to two of the first coupled lines in parallel and comprises two signal ports, to which the two ends of each of the magnetically-coupled first coupled lines are placed symmetrically for transferring a second pair of differential signals. The second signal transforming circuit is configured to convert between the second pairs of differential signals at the signal ports and a third pair of differential signals at connecting ports of the second signal transforming circuit.
Abstract:
Methods and devices for imaging tissue elasticity change as a tool to provide feedback for histotripsy treatments. Tissue lesion elasticity was measured with ultrasound shear wave elastography, where a quasi-planar shear wave was induced by acoustic radiation force generated by the therapeutic array, and tracked with ultrasound imaging at 3000 frames per second. Based on the shear wave velocity calculated from the sequentially captured frames, the Young's modulus in the lesion area was reconstructed. Results showed that the lesions were clearly identified on the elasticity images as an area with decreased elasticity. Lesions produced by histotripsy can be detected with high sensitivity using shear wave elastography. Decrease in the tissue elasticity corresponds well with the morphological and histological change.
Abstract:
A method of forming a front electrode of a solar cell includes a step of forming a sub-grid line and a main-grid line on the solar cell. The method further includes steps of: forming a lower layer of the sub-grid line on the solar cell using a lower paste by a first screen; drying the solar cell that is formed with the lower layer of the sub-grid line; forming an upper layer of the sub-grid line and the main-grid line simultaneously on the solar cell using an upper paste by a second screen; and sintering the solar cell that is formed with the sub-grid line and the main-grid line. A method of manufacturing a solar cell using the methods and a solar cell manufactured by the method are also provided.
Abstract:
A system and process for automatically characterizing a plurality of external cavity semiconductor laser chips on a semiconductor laser bar separated from a semiconductor wafer. The system includes a diffraction grating and a steering mirror mounted on a rotary stage for rotating the diffraction grating through a range of diffraction angles. A laser bar positioning stage for automatically aligning each laser chip in a laser bar with the diffraction grating. Reflecting a laser beam emitted from a laser chip in a laser bar with diffraction grating and steering mirror to the laser analyzer. Automatically rotating the diffraction grating through a range of diffraction angles relative to the laser beam and automatically characterizing the laser optical properties such as spectra, power, or spatial modes with the laser analyzer at each diffraction angle.
Abstract:
A cable assembly for mounting to a panel, comprises a housing comprising a mating portion and a retaining portion extending rearward and outward from a rear end of the mating portion, the retaining portion has a receiving hole therein and a cutout communicated with the receiving hole. At least one key is formed on each of an upper surface and a lower surface of the mating portion. A plurality of conductive contacts are disposed in the housing. A positioning member mounted to the retaining portion of the housing defines an inner arm, an outer arm and a connecting portion connecting with the inner arm and the outer arm. The inner arm is disposed in the receiving hole and having a front end extending out of the receiving hole. The outer arm is located on a lateral side of the retaining portion and has a front end extending into the receiving hole via the cutout and is capable of moving the inner arm rearward to make the front end of the inner arm retracted into the receiving hole.
Abstract:
Embodiments are directed towards identifying trusted senders and their trusted sender accounts within a household network for use in at least managing spam activities. Primary trusted sender accounts are determined based on a traceable relationship between a network account and a known trusted source, such as a communication of qualified electronic statements. Coverage of trusted senders may be expanded by including other network accounts that might not receive qualified electronic statements but are detected as being owned by a primary trusted sender and/or their household members. The other household members being definable as secondary trusted senders with secondary trusted sender accounts. Various anti-spam filters and/or other activities may be modified based on the determined trusted sender status of a network account, including, minimizing an amount of spam analysis performed for a message, training of spam filters, or the like.
Abstract:
The disclosure describes systems and methods for determining spam. A spam detecting system identifies potential spam messages by checking the relationship between a sender of a message and a recipient of the message. The spam detecting system identifies the relationship between the sender and recipient as ‘unknown’ or ‘trusted’. If the message is ‘trusted’, the message is transmitted accordingly to the recipient. If the message is classified as ‘unknown’, then the message is analyzed in view of other identified potential spam messages where a count is tallied against a threshold value to keep track of the probability a message is spam.
Abstract:
A drawer Buffer includes: the base, cylinder and plate with the guide rod projected in the front end; the cylinder of which is fixed in the base and there is a projecting column on the front end of its piston rod; in the middle of the guide rod, there is a sliding chute for the move of piston rod; in the outer side of the guide rod, there is a guideway to coordinate with the projecting column, the front end of the guideway is linked with a positioning slot; on the plate, there is the guiding slot for traction and pushing the projecting column into the positioning slot; the section shape of the mentioned cylinder sleeve and piston rod of the cylinder is similar to the ellipse, the tail of the cylinder sleeve is linked with the head of piston rod via the spring. The buffer can be used with a drawer slide rail for drawer moving reposefully.
