The cleaning cloth includes a single textile layer having an activated arming yarn stiffening the cloth. There is also provided a method of producing such a cleaning cloth.

The present invention introduces a process of spinning bast fibers through health preserving. Various examples include health preserving bast fibers; opening and cleaning, and carding the health preserved bast fibers, and drawing the carded health preserved bast fibers into bast fiber strips; health preserving said bast fiber strips; and spinning the health preserved fiber strips into yarn. Examples of the present invention also introduce a kind of yarn made by such processes. Examples of the present invention further introduce a process of blended spinning bast fiber with other fibers through health preserving, and the yarn made by such processes. Examples of the present invention realize low end breakage rates, and high efficiency, so as to achieve high quality products.

An antimicrobial woven fabric having interwoven silver threads in manufacturing antimicrobial medical garments including tunics, gowns, coveralls, jackets, scrub tops, scrub pants, lab coats, footwear covers, linens, curtains and dividers wherein the woven fabric is selected from one or more of cotton, wool, silk, hemp, polyester, polypropylene, spandex and nylon, preferably the fabric is a blend of cotton and polyester fibers, with the medical garments providing for a garment closure, such as a zipper, extending approximately from a top front of the garment to a bottom front of the garment for opening said garment; and a plurality of pockets on a front portion of said garment.

Flame resistant fabrics are formed by warp and fill yams having different fiber contents. The fabrics are constructed, for example, by selection of a suitable weaving pattern, such that the body side of the fabric and the face side of the fabric have different properties. The fabrics described herein can be printable and dyeable on both sides of the fabric and are suitable for use in military and industrial garments. Methods of forming flame resistant fabrics, and methods for forming garments from the fabrics, are also described.

There is provided a process for production of fabrics that vary in glossiness depending on the viewing angle without loss of soft hand quality and that have a highly aesthetic appearance, as well as fabrics and fiber products obtained by the process. The process for production of fabrics of the invention is characterized by pressurized heat treatment of a fabric containing an organic fiber A with a monofilament diameter of 50-1500 nm, and having a woven or knitted texture. The highly aesthetic fabric of the invention also contains an organic fiber B with a monofilament diameter larger than 1500 nm, as an additional fiber.

The invention relates to a polymer composition comprising a biologically degradable polymer and a material from sea plants and/or shells of sea animals or at least two components selected from the group consisting of saccharides and the derivatives thereof, proteins, amino acids, vitamins and metal ions. The invention additionally relates to a molded article comprising said polymer composition. Said molded article may be used packaging material or fibrous material, in the form of fibrous material as mixing component for the production of yarns, and in the form of fibrous material for the production of nonwoven fabrics or woven fabrics.

A tent fabric comprising a woven fabric made of yarns containing kenaf fibers in an amount of 10 wt. % or more. The tent fabric after use can easily be recycled and hence contributes to resource saving and environmental protection.
