Abstract: A gear is provided that has excellent continuous moldability for practical use, and both high slidability and high durability. The provided gear is a molded resin constructed of a resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) and cellulose nanofibers (B) with an average fiber diameter of 1000 nm or smaller, and having a number average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin (A) in the range of 10,000 to 150,000, wherein a sliding surface of the gear with another gear teeth has an arithmetic mean surface roughness Sa of 3.0 μm or lower.

Abstract: The disclosure makes it possible to provide a cell culture membrane capable of easily decomposing after allowing cell layers to be formed on both sides of the cell culture membrane. A cell culture membrane having a cell culture region at both surfaces thereof, the cell culture membrane containing methyl cellulose having a weight average molecular weight of from 20000 to 190000 as a main component, or containing methyl cellulose having a weight average molecular weight of from 190000 to 400000 as a main component, and further containing a dissolution temperature regulator. The dissolution temperature regulator is preferably at least one of sodium styrenesulfonate, sodium iodide, or sodium toluenesulfonate. A poorly soluble material is preferably added to the cell culture membrane.

Abstract: In some variations, the present invention provides an oil-resistant paperboard material coated with hydrophobic nanocellulose. The paperboard material is free of a fluorocarbon coating. In other variations, an oil-resistant paper is coated with hydrophobic nanocellulose and is free of a fluorocarbon coating. The hydrophobic nanocellulose may include lignin-coated cellulose nanofibrils, lignin-coated cellulose nanocrystals, or a combination thereof. A process for producing these materials is also provided, comprising: fractionating a lignocellulosic biomass feedstock in the presence of an acid, a solvent for lignin, and water, to generate cellulose-rich solids and a liquid containing hemicellulose and lignin, wherein a portion of the lignin deposits onto a surface of the cellulose-rich solids, thereby rendering the cellulose-rich solids at least partially hydrophobic; mechanically treating the cellulose-rich solids to form hydrophobic nanocellulose; and coating a paper or paperboard material with the hydrophobic nanocellulose, to generate an oil-resistant paper or paperboard material.

Abstract: A heat-not-burn cigarette comprises a housing and an inner core. The head end of the housing is enclosed, and the tail end of the housing can receive the inner core. The inner core comprises a front insertion segment with an enclosed end, a rear insertion segment with an open end, and a tobacco containing space is defined between the end of the front insertion segment and the head end of the housing. A ventilation clearance is provided between an outer wall of the front insertion segment and an inner wall of the housing. A plurality of inlet holes are arranged in a side wall of the housing to communicate with the ventilation clearance, and a plurality of vent holes are provided on the end of the front insertion segment of the inner core.
