A control method in a printing apparatus includes printing, by a printing unit, an adjustment image for adjusting a printing position on a sheet, conveying, by a conveying unit, the sheet on which the adjustment image is printed, reading, by a reading unit, an image to generate image data, the reading unit being executable to perform reading by a first reading method for reading an image of a sheet without conveying the sheet or a second reading method for reading the image of the sheet while conveying the sheet, and determining, based on that a type of the sheet on which the adjustment image is to be printed is a specific type, to read the adjustment image by the first reading method.
Abstract:
An image processor, a printing apparatus, and an image processing method are provided that can reduce, when a plurality of types of inks are used to print an image, the color unevenness that is caused by the variation of ejecting characteristics among a pluralities of nozzles. To realize this, for a color formed by overlapping at least two colors of inks, parameters are prepared that are determined so as to reduce the color difference in the printing medium due to the variation of the ejecting characteristic among the respective pluralities of nozzles. During printing, the parameters are used to correct the first color signal owned by the individual pixels to the second color signal.

An image processing apparatus includes: an image processing unit configured to execute image processing including skew correction that deforms an image so as to cancel distortion on the image; and a control unit configured to control the image processing on the image processing unit, wherein, in a case where a margin amount available for correcting the distortion is defined as a first correction margin amount and a margin amount used for correction other than skew correction is defined as a second correction margin amount, the control unit calculates a third correction margin amount obtained by subtracting the second correction margin amount from the first correction margin amount, and controls such that the image processing unit executes the image processing including the skew correction toward a first image and a second image such that the skew correction amount to be corrected falls within a range of the third correction margin amount.

The range of the levels based on the level to which the element read by the bar code being the identifier of each element of the order is previously set as the range of the levels to be displayed as the candidates of the reprinting-target elements. A wireless device that includes a wireless communication unit compatible with at least a protocol within IEEE 802.11 for establishing a wireless local area network is herein disclosed and enabled. To connect the wireless device to a wireless local area network, the wireless device may first establish a Bluetooth connection with a mobile information apparatus, such as smart phone or information pad. Subsequently, the wireless device receives a password or authentication information from the mobile information apparatus for accessing the wireless local area network. Thereafter, the wireless device is connected for receiving or transmitting digital content over the wireless local area network. Additionally, the wireless device may further be connected to the Internet for accessing a service operated over the Internet via the wireless local area network. The wireless device may further receive identification or authentication information automatically from the mobile information apparatus for accessing the service over Internet.
