Abstract: The invention relates to a paint spray gun, comprising a tubular main body and a handle which is provided on the main body and has an actuatable trigger, wherein the main body has a spray opening on a first end face. The paint spray gun comprises a nozzle part arranged in the main body and a nozzle needle which can be moved in the nozzle part, wherein actuation of the trigger causes the nozzle needle to move in the nozzle part. The paint spray gun also comprises an air inlet opening and a fan which is driven by an electric motor for producing an air flow from the air inlet opening to the spray opening. The invention is characterised in that the electric motor and the fan are arranged in the main body and the air inlet opening is arranged on an end face of the main body opposite the first end face.

Abstract: A system and method for dispensing a treatment fluid is provided. The system includes a surface maintenance machine, a fluid reservoir, an air blower, and one or more fluid dispensing systems. The one or more fluid dispensing systems each include one or more nozzles in fluid communication with the air blower. The air blower generates an air pressure and dispenses air through the one or more nozzles while the treatment fluid is dispensed through the one or nozzles. The dispensing of air and treatment fluid dispenses the treatment fluid in a mist, fog, or spray to a surface. A method for dispensing a treatment fluid is also provided. The method includes generating an electrically charged treatment fluid and dispensing the electrically charged treatment fluid from the one or more nozzles to a surface.

Abstract: A system for producing a layer of aligned carbon nanotubes, the system comprising: a sprayer, a solution delivery tube configured to deliver a carbon nanotube solution to the sprayer, the carbon nanotube solution including carbon nanotubes dispersed in chloroform, and a reservoir configured to contain a water subphase. The sprayer is configured to generate a continuous spray of the carbon nanotube solution. The continuous floating layer is supported by the subphase. The spray of carbon nanotube solution includes droplets of the carbon nanotube solution, the droplets having a median diameter in a range from about 1 to about 100 microns. The sprayer maintains the continuous floating layer of carbon nanotube solution on the subphase as a substrate is inserted into or removed from the subphase, the carbon nanotube solution being in contact with the substrate.

Abstract: An atomizing spray nozzle device includes an atomizing zone housing that receives different phases of materials used to form a coating. The atomizing zone housing mixes the different phases of the materials into a two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in a carrier gas. The device also includes a plenum housing fluidly coupled with the atomizing housing and extending from the atomizing housing to a delivery end. The plenum housing includes an interior plenum that receives the two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in the carrier gas from the atomizing zone housing. The device also includes one or more delivery nozzles fluidly coupled with the plenum chamber. The delivery nozzles provide outlets from which the two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in the carrier gas is delivered onto one or more surfaces of a target object as the coating on the target object.

Abstract: A piston is formed by an outer edge of the cap. The piston and an inner wall of the nozzle body form a dynamic seal for the air cylinder, so that a main body of the air pump is formed. The cap extends downwardly to form a hydraulic cylinder. The hollow compression rod connects a pump component of the hydraulic cylinder and the mixing chamber of the head, so that a main body of the liquid pump is formed. The hollow compression rod is provided with an upper disk. The upper end of the upper disk passes the air outlet of the nozzle body and is inserted into the connecting pipe of the head in snap fit, and the upper disk opens or closes the air outlet. A fastening position is designed to form a gap between the head and the nozzle body to realize a floating valve function at the head.

It is proposed that the atomizer unit (2) has at least one second supply duct (15) for supplying a second compressed air stream (16) into and through the chamber arrangement interior (9) to the continuation duct (12), wherein the atomizer unit (2) is configured such that the second compressed air stream (16) joins the first compressed air stream (11), and any coolant and/or lubricant (4) injected into the first compressed air stream (11), downstream of the injection region (14) to form a transport stream (17) for transporting the injected coolant and/or lubricant (4), and wherein the transport stream (17) is conveyed through the continuation duct (12) to the machining station (7).
