The method would include not limited to: receiving a CG configuration which is for a small data transmission before entering an inactive state; verifying a CG resource of a camping cell associated with the CG configuration by determining whether the camping cell satisfies a validation condition before triggering a SDT procedure, wherein the CG configuration comprises a list of CG configurations associated with a list of cells; and utilizing the CG resource for the SDT procedure when the validation condition has been determined as being satisfied.

Abstract: An embodiment of the invention relates to a method of operating a communication system that comprises a master node (MN) and at least two slave nodes (SN1-SN4) and is operated in a time-division multiplexing technique. Prior to the re-transmission of uplink and/or downlink data packets (UDP, DDP) in the auxiliary subframe (ASF), the master node (MN) broadcasts the re-transmission schedule (RTS) to the slave nodes (SN1-SN4).

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a plurality of slot-aggregated physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions associated with a common transport block; receive a dynamic feedback information (DFI) transmission that includes hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback associated with the plurality of slot-aggregated PUSCH transmissions, wherein the HARQ feedback is a HARQ acknowledgement (ACK) or a HARQ negative acknowledgement (NACK); determine whether one or more PUSCH transmissions, of the plurality of slot-aggregated PUSCH transmissions, satisfy a delay condition associated with receipt of the DFI transmission; and determine whether the HARQ feedback is valid based at least in part on whether the one or more PUSCH transmissions satisfy the delay condition.
