Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing forming plural rows of passageways wherein each row of passageways extends along a transverse direction while the plural rows are spaced from one another in a front-to-back direction perpendicular to the transverse direction. Each passageway is dimension to receive a unified contact having three sets of spring arms spaced from one another in the transverse direction. The three sets of spring arms are categorized with two outer sets and one inner set therebetween in the transverse direction. The pitch between the two neighboring sets of spring arms of each unified contact is essentially one half of the distance between one outer set of spring arms of one unified contact and another outer set of spring arms of the neighboring unified contact.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing composed of a plurality of parallel partitions each extending in a longitudinal direction, and plural rows of contact modules each extending in the longitudinal direction and disposed in the housing. Each contact module includes a plurality of contacts integrally formed within an insulator/wafter which extends in a longitudinal direction. In each contact module, each contact includes a main body with opposite contacting arms on upper and lower sections. The contact modules are successively assembled downwardly in the housing by plural assembling poles each of which retainably extends through plural contact modules in the transverse direction and retained in the corresponding positioning grooves formed in the corresponding partitions, respectively.

Abstract: A securing mechanism for retaining a daughter board upon the primary board includes a base, which is moveably assembled upon the main board, and a latch assembled upon the base and moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The base forms a support platform upwardly abutting against the underside of the daughter board and equipped with an arc protrusion for receipt within a notch of the daughter board, and a grounding piece with one end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad of the daughter board and the other end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad on the main board. The base forms a horizontal slot to receive the main body so as to retain the base to the main body in position in the vertical direction. The latch forms a pressing face downwardly pressing an upper side of the daughter board.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing with a plurality of passageways and a plurality of contacts received therein. The contact includes an upstanding section retained in the passageway with a spring arm extending from an upper region of the upstanding plate and above the mating surface, and a mounting leg extending from a lower region of the upstanding plate around the mounting surface. The spring arm forms a contacting section around a free end thereof. The contact further includes an extension extending from the upstanding section and optimally above the mating surface so as to be located between the spring arm and the mating surface in the vertical direction. The extension and the spring arm are partially overlapped in the vertical direction and results in the capacitance effect therebetween, thus lowering impedance.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing with a rear base and a mating tongue extending forwardly from the base. Two rows of contacts are retained in the housing. A metallic shielding plate is embedded within the housing and between the two rows of contacts. Each row of contacts defines positions from one to twelve in the transverse direction wherein positions 2&3 and 10&11 are designated for high frequency signal transmission. Abstract: An LRA with a magnet assembly sandwiched between a pair of moving masses or support blocks which are further sandwiched between a pair of springs. A stationary elongated shaft extends through both the magnet assembly and the pair of moving masses and the pair of springs with two opposite ends secured to the corresponding end walls of the case in which all the magnet assembly, the pair of moving masses and the springs are disclosed. The moving mass forms a pair of recesses in opposite top and bottom surfaces. The case forms a pair of protrusions on opposite top and bottom walls to respectively received within the corresponding recesses so as to provide the reliable support upon the moving mass in a vertical direction. Each moving mass forms a protrusion to hold the corresponding spring in position.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and the pick-up cap assembled upon the housing of the electrical connector. A plurality of contacts are disposed in the housing and covered by the pick-up cap. The operation section includes a cavity in the first side wall and a raised section above the cavity. Each latch includes a spring arm, and a hook located at the end of the spring arm and engaged within the corresponding locking recess. The latch is located within the boundary of the housing without extending beyond the corresponding side face.
