Abstract: A massage unit includes a treatment member; an arm that supports the treatment member; a drive shaft that supports the arm and causes the treatment member to approach and be separated with respect to a treatment target site; a movable portion that causes the treatment member to be operable in a direction of being separated from the treatment target site when the treatment member comes into contact with the treatment target site by a force equal to or greater than predetermined strength; and biasing means for biasing the treatment member in an approaching direction.

Abstract: A vibratory massaging device having a spaced plurality of proximity sensors distributed on a massaging surface of the device, and a control circuit operative for controlling vibratory intensities in response to activation of particular ones of the sensors being close to a user's body parts being massaged. The device can be configured as a dildo, including both main and secondary vibrators, the secondary vibrator being within an arm portion that is configured for clitoral stimulation. At least one of the vibrators is automatically driven at increased intensity as penetration increases.

Abstract: A body weight support system includes a trolley, a powered conductor operatively coupled to a power supply, and a patient attachment mechanism. The trolley can include a drive system, a control system, and a patient support system. The drive system is movably coupled to a support rail. At least a portion of the control system is physically and electrically coupled to the powered conductor. The patient support mechanism is at least temporarily coupled to the patient attachment mechanism. The control system can control at least a portion of the patient support mechanism based at least in part on a force applied to the patient attachment mechanism.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing network connectivity and remote monitoring, optimization, and control of pool/spa equipment are provided. “Internet-of-Things” (IoT) functionality is provided for pool and spa equipment in a flexible and cost-effective manner. Network connectivity and remote monitoring/control of pool and spa equipment is provided by various components such as a network communication and local control subsystem installed in pool/spa equipment, and other components. Also disclosed are various control processes (“pool logic”) which can be embodied as software code installed in any of the various embodiments of the present disclosure.

Abstract: An apparatus for assisting a rescuer in performing chest compressions during CPR on a victim, the apparatus comprising a pad or other structure configured to be applied to the chest near or at the location at which the rescuer applies force to produce the chest compressions, at least one sensor connected to the pad, the sensor being configured to sense movement of the chest or force applied to the chest, processing circuitry for processing the output of the sensor to determine whether the rescuer is substantially releasing the chest following chest compressions, and at least one prompting element connected to the processing circuitry for providing the rescuer with information as to whether the chest is being substantially released following chest compressions.

Abstract: A spatial sensing device to improve the user's movement ability and provide assistance in the autonomous walking of visually impaired or blind people, which is also easy-to-use, ergonomic and portable, the device comprises a housing including a set of modules; attaching means bonded to the housing in order to secure the device to the user; at least one user information access means; and an ultrasound transducer positioned at the junction between one housing side and the attaching means; the device is characterized in that the ultrasound transducer is positioned on the device at a slant angle (α) with respect to the device axis (Z), such that during the use of the device, the ultrasound transducer is directed toward the user's front side in order to emit and detect signals which will be processed by the set of modules in the housing, wherein the set of modules comprises a processing module interacting with an intercommunication module, a position and/or movement sensing module, a spatial sensing module, and a power module.
