Abstract:
Provided are a group control method and a group control device capable of efficiently controlling the operation of elevators in diversified traffic situations and under a variety of specification conditions required for a group management system. A plurality of elevators are placed in service for a plurality of floors, an evaluation index for a newly made hall call is calculated, and the best suited car is selected and assigned to the hall call based on the evaluation index in the group control method of elevators. A waiting time expectation value of all passengers on all floors for each direction, either that have already occurred or that are expected to occur within a predetermined time period, is taken as the evaluation index, the waiting time expectation value being the expectation value for the sum or the average of waiting time.
Abstract:
An elevator group control system for controlling multiple elevators cars each of which serves a plurality of floors includes a route preparation section which, at a time of assigning a hall call to one of the elevator cars, calculates a future trajectory for each of the elevator cars. The future trajectory for each elevator is for a case in which the hall call is assigned to the elevator car. A selecting unit which determines a selected one of the elevator cars to which the hall call is to be assigned using the calculated future trajectories.
Abstract:
An elevator group control system includes a reference route generating portion, which for each elevator, generates a reference route which the elevator should follow with respect to the time axis and position axis; and an assignment portion which selects an elevator for assignment to a generated hall call so as to make the actual trajectory of each elevator closer to its reference route. Reference routes which guide the cage's trajectory into temporally equal interval condition are generated, and car assignment is executed to allow the cages to settle in temporally equal interval condition over a long period of time.
Abstract:
A method for allocating destination calls in an elevator system, the system including at least one multi-deck elevator, where the passenger gives his/her destination floor by means of a destination call device at the beginning of the journey route, thereby defining the starting point and final point of the passenger's journey route in the elevator system. The method includes the steps of generating possible route alternatives from the starting point to the final point of the journey route, determining a cost function containing at least one travel time term, determining the value of the travel time term corresponding to each route alternative in the cost function, calculating the total cost of each route alternative by using the cost function, allocating for the passenger the route alternative that gives the minimum total cost, and guiding the passenger to a waiting lobby and/or elevator consistent with the route alternative allocated.
Abstract:
An elevator installation has a vertical elevator hoistway and a plurality of elevator cars individually movable therein. An elevator control system readies at least two of the elevator cars in the hoistway in an area of two mutually adjacent entrance areas. Thus, simultaneous loading/unloading of the elevator cars via the entrance areas is possible. The two elevator cars then travel to destination floors, the first elevator car traveling a distance which is at least as great as that traveled by the second elevator car.
Abstract:
A method controls the elevators in an elevator group when destination floor call input is used and the traffic within the elevator group is to be optimized. According to the concept of the method, based on traffic intensity, a cost function is optimized by changing the number of cost criteria from one to several and back and weighting the criteria in different ways in the aforesaid cost function.
Abstract:
Energy saving methods and apparatus for elevator systems having a plurality of elevator cars operating in a plurality of elevator shafts are disclosed. The present invention provides methods and apparatus for determining which one of the plurality of elevator cars is to be assigned to a new hall call in order to reduce the net energy consumption of the elevator system over time.
Abstract:
A procedure for controlling an elevator group consisting of double deck elevators consists of allocating landing calls to elevators and elevator decks in such a way that passenger journey time is optimized. The time of the call and the estimated time of arrival to destination floor are taken into account. Passenger flow and elevator status within the elevator group are monitored and passenger wait time and arrive time estimated based thereon. The best elevator is selected to minimize passenger wait and ride time. The best deck is further selected based on the estimated wait time and ride time to minimize passenger journey time.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a procedure for controlling an elevator group consisting of double-deck elevators. According to the invention, landing calls are allocated to the elevators and after that to the elevator decks in such a way that the passenger journey time is optimised. The procedure of the invention takes into account the time the call has been on and the estimated time of arrival to the destination floor.
Abstract:
Elevator group supervisory control method and system for group supervisory control of a plurality of elevators serving a plurality of floors. The method and apparatus of the invention permits the inputting of qualitative requests (guidance), from the user, concerning elevator operation into the group supervisory control system. Qualitative requests concerning elevator operation are set in the form of guidance (or request) targets. The thus set request targets are converted into control targets for the elevators. Actual group supervisory control is executed using the control targets.
